We were there for lunch. 8.5 Euros per person got us a vast amount of food to choose from. Just the cheese plater and the cold cut spread have been enough to convince me, but alas there is more. No, i dont mean mozarella cheese and cheddar. I'm talking about artisan local cheeses and hard to find sliced meats. Also a variety of Portuguese dishes along with casual choices to please everyone. I ordered a pitcher of sangria thinking I would pay $20 as i do in the US. But no, also included in the price. Then my parents had two beers, also included in the price. I had to walk around the building a couple times before I found it. I actually thought it was closed at first since I didn't see anyone inside, but I am glad I went in anyway. The indoor space was indeed empty but the patio with the view was bustling and it's easy to see why! I tried the 5 tapas. Some were really good and others not so much. I also tried their "world's best sponge cake", which was definitely good but very sweet! I honestly don't know how many sponge cakes I have tried before so I can't compare. It had a very interesting texture and part of it was more liquidy than I expected, almost like it had been frozen and thawed. Regardless, it was a good experience. The servers were friendly. You order at your table and then pay at the front. Overall it was a relaxing break from a long day of walking around the city.
