Worst dentist I have ever visited. They will cancel your appointment and have nothing to reschedule for 6 months but if the customer is a few minutes late, they will not see you. Don't give them a chance to disappoint you! read more

I am new to area and was looking for a dentist. It had been a while, and I knew I needed work done. I went onto their web site and clicked "Book an Appointment". The soonest appointment was a week later, but I figured I had gone this long, what's another week. I filled out my information, and received an email with "Your Appointment is Confirmed" in the subject line shortly after. I requested the day off (I'm a teacher, so this is not an easy thing to do), and filled out all of the new patient paperwork they sent. The day before my appointment I get a phone call stating that what I had was a "request for an appointment" and that the lady on the phone would be happy to make one for me. So not only did I NOT have an appointment, but it would be ANOTHER THREE WEEKS before I could get one. Nevermind that nowhere on the web site or email did the word "request" appear, but even if this was so, why wait until the DAY BEFORE I was expecting to come in? Now it's true that I never even made it to the door. Maybe this is the best dentist in the state. I'll never find out because they have already shown me that they do not value my time. read more

i have been to dr eric waldman for the last 3 years. I had so many cavities (bad genes) and my teeth were a total mess. Overtime slowly, i have now zero cavities! I have had no complications or complaints ever on any of my visits. The staff are all super friendly. I trust the doctor. He makes sure im comfortable doing the whole procedure. Hes caring and efficient. I hate dentists but this ones a keeper! read more

Appointments online are not reliable. I am not sure why they even offer an option to make an appointment online when the spot you are scheduling is not available. I was experiencing a dental issue over the weekend and wanted to see someone ASAP, checked out many offices in the area, through their online scheduling systems (as it was the weekend and everything was closed) and unfortunately there were no availabilities until weeks out. Came across dolson avenue dental and their online scheduling platform displayed numerous available spots the same week. I booked an appointment, received a confirmation that my appointment is booked as well as instructions to fill out new patient paperwork, requested the day off of work, and as you guessed it by the previous reviews got a call telling me that the next appointment is not available until May. I don't understand why they keep doing this when clearly they have received negative patient feedback regarding this issue. I have made plenty of appointments online, there are many reliable online scheduling platforms. Huge waste of time. read more

The hygienist is great. Front of the house thumbs down. Also did not sanitize chairs in waiting room after someone sat in them. Covid 19?

Challenge for the day... How does one adequately describe a trip to the dentist exceeding expectations? So often, we begrudgingly see to our oral hygiene. Whether because of cost constraints, fear, lack of adequate insurance and the like; I could offer a plethora of excuses all pointing toward TOTAL AVOIDANCE! That said, based on another practices' recommendation and online research I was referred to Dolson Avenue Dental in Middletown, NY. From scheduling same day as a new patient, to the Dental Assistant/Tech work up, through to Dr. Wisdom onto Front Office Support, the Dolson Avenue Dental Team is blazing on ALL cylinders! Like so many others dental coverage is not provided by my employer and the NYS Marketplace and online options remain 100% unrealistic. Can't give them a zero stars rating because it is not an option. DO NOT GO THERE if you value your family. Inept dentist. To say the least.

Avoid them. Poorly run - they had a hygenist call in sick... So rather than have ANY contingency plan, they tell you upon arrival that the appt is cancelled. So, half their appointments today are just out of luck?? No apology. Then they blame me - "we tried calling you." I told them I received the 3rd automated confirmation saying "looking forward to seeing you for your appointment today," but no call or voicemail. Their response is that they don't send those texts... like it was some random stranger. It's a service set up by your office. Then their response about my not being called, "You must have been in a deadzone." I was home at the time, which isn't a deadzone. But glad your kneejerk reaction is to blame the patient. Good luck to anyone that make appointments come flu season - they have no staffing back up plan & will blame you. read more

Let me share my nightmare with this dentist office. It was one thing after another with this place. My wife scheduled a cleaning which when we showed up to the office actually turned into an examination. She was told she needed some work done and we needed to pay the same day. So we figured oh well get it over now. So we paid what the receptionists told us. We then get a notice from our insurance that my wife saw a DIFFERENT dentist that wasn't covered under our plan. We tried to get this rectified over the phone but the insurance and the office kept pointing fingers until one admitted the mistake and then filed through the correct dentist. THEN we get another notice from our insurance that Dolson Ave put it through that we paid in full. So we then had to cash these checks from the insurance and mail them out. A month later a bill comes in the mail that we still owe the full balance on the account. My wife called in pretty upset and the receptionist gave her quite an attitude. At this point my wife handed me the phone and I was told I needed to go to the bank to get a copy of the check we mailed out to them because they dont have it in there system. The woman was probably the rudest receptionist I have ever dealt with. A few minutes before I fax over the checks I get a call from another individual that states they found the checks and will talk it over with another dentist to "see" if they will continue treatment with us. All in all, pretty nice office and good dentists but the office workers are HORRIBLE at their job and are extremely rude! I will never go here again and you should save yourself the aggrivation and go somewhere else! read more
