Fantastic hotel in London! It is reasonably priced and situated in Pimlico not too far from the tube.
We had 3 rooms for 5 adults and a baby, and we stayed here two separate times over our 2 week trip to the UK. All of the rooms were good!
Baby Friendly 4 Stars
Kid Friendly 5 Stars
Great location. Close to the Thames, not far from restaurants and the tube. Reasonably centrally located on the Victoria line (not a far walk from the Victoria station either).
It has a fantastic indoor swimming pool, gym (with workout classes all day long), a spa, and a restaurant.
We had a 1 bedroom with the baby. The first one we had was perfect for us. You walked into a wide hallway with the kitchenette (fridge with freezer, microwave, dishes, sink, etc. Straight in front of the door was an enormous bathroom with shower, deep tub, toilet, bidet, and 2 sinks. To the left was a big bedroom with it's own door, to the right was a living room with it's own door. The baby slept in the living room (he is a noisy sleeper), and we could use the bedroom and go to the bathroom without risking waking him! It was a very comfortable space.
The bed and bedding was very comfortable. However, I hate when big beds are two single beds pushed together. It's annoying that the center of the bed isn't comfortable! I wish they had big beds instead of this.
The front desk staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful. The computer system here seems terrible. We tried to add an extra night and they couldn't do it and told us we needed to do it online. They couldn't see if rooms were available. Then when we returned and saw our new rooms, I asked if we could change to be in one with a similar layout to our first stay. The computer doesn't let the staff see which rooms are similar. So even though there were plenty of 1 bedroom rooms available, they couldn't tell what they were like. (I would have been happy to walk around and look at open rooms, but that wasn't an option). At least after our 1st night of the second stay we were able to move back into the exact room we had during the first stay. So it all worked out in the end. However I think the hotel would probably run much better and likely make more money if they had a better computer system for rooms. Oh, we also had billing issues that were computer issue. With time and the helpful staff they were resolved.
We had breakfast included with our rooms. The breakfast was good, but we were never certain what was included and what wasn't. Different servers told us different things on different days. But the croissants were fantastic!
The pool was amazing. It was big and warm. They have family swim from 10-12 and 2-5 M-F, and all day Saturday and Sunday. There are lanes for people swimming laps. read more
