A dolphin escort out into Broad creek.

After negotiating some weather, Heath and his team put together a fantastic sunset cruise experience for our family. Capts Patrick and Ian got us up close to the dolphins and the perfect sunset view at dusk. Highly recommend this outfit.

Wonderful and so much fun. This was my 3rd dolphin sighting booking but my 1st with this company. I was surprised by the much smaller boat but I had SO MUCH FUN!!! Our captain was Robie (pronounced Robbie) and he is a local and he even lives in a boat in the area. He was very knowledgeable about the area and kept us engaged on the boat. We had a total of 5 people on the boat besides the captain. So nice to have full viewing ability and open space. I was nervous being on such a small boat but Robie made sure we felt safe and he kept very good control of the boat when high waves came. We were able to see several dolphins and a beautiful sunset. Hope to come again and book with my family

We had a wonderful private boat tour around Broad Creek with Robbie! We saw dolphins, learned about the area, history and wildlife. This was fun for the whole family. We would definitely book with Dolphin Discoveries again!!

My friends and I booked the sunset cruise. My first time on such a small boat. I was VERY nervous. I never imagined I'd enjoy it as much as I did. Our Captain Robie was awesome. He shared so much information on the area and dolphins. He also ensure we were comfortable the whole time. Warned us before he sped up. I hope to return and book again!

Highly recommend! We did the 11:15 tour, high tide, and it did not disappoint! I didn't get much photos because I took more videos. We saw dolphins 10 minutes into staying our tour all the way to the end of the tour. We had Doug as our tour guide and he was fantastic! They are more pricey compared to other companies, but we got up close to the dolphins. The bigger boats were sitting back watching. I'm so happy I went with my decision and went with them!

    Fishing for bait fish

We took our family of four, my husband and myself along with our two kids ages 10 and 9 and had an absolute blast!! We had a shark fishing and dolphin watching tour scheduled for Saturday morning and had a little bit of a delay because of a storm but Captain Jay more than made it up to us. We caught sting rays, blacktip, bonnethead, sharpnose, hammerhead and bull sharks. We even caught some baitfish which was super cool because the dolphins were just a few feet from the boat catching some for themselves. We highly recommend this company and our Captain. He made us feel safe the entire time and his energy made it even that more enjoyable. Looking forward to another trip in the future with Dolphin Discoveries!

The small boat experience was really cool, especially when we stopped to watch the dolphins.

BEST DOG-FRIENDLY CRUISE EVER…read more We took Coopie on a dog-friendly cruise with Vagabond Cruise and WOW... we're still not over it From the second we stepped on, the crew made us (and Coopie) feel so welcome. It's actually one of those rare experiences where your dog isn't just allowed... they're part of the whole adventure We saw dolphins swimming right next to the boat (Coopie was LOCKED IN watching them ), and the views during sunset were unreal. The ride was super smooth, relaxing, and honestly such a perfect mix of fun + peaceful vibes. What we loved most: * Dog-friendly AND stress-free (huge win) * Friendly, knowledgeable crew * Tons of space for your pup to chill * Dolphin sightings + insane sunset views 10/10 would do this again with Coopie If you're in Hilton Head and want something different + dog-friendly... this is a MUST. Most of the current maps only have some of the roads so it's extremely easy to get lost. The island is lovely and guests all drive around on golf carts as very few cars are allowed on the island. We might have raised our review if we had gone in another day but it's hard to know because we weren't able to visit most of the historic sites.

Savannah Riverboat Lunch Cruise: Great Experience, But Skip the Included Lunch…read more My husband and I took the Savannah Riverboat Cruise with the lunch option, and overall, it was a memorable outing we'd happily repeat--with one change. The service was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. The boat itself is beautiful, with lovely views of the Savannah River and historic sites. The captain's narration was a highlight. He provided fascinating facts, interesting historical tidbits, and maritime knowledge about the area the entire time--only pausing briefly for questions, which he answered thoroughly. My husband was particularly impressed by his expertise on the local maritime history. A fun moment came when we passed Old Fort Jackson--they fired a cannon at us! It was thrilling to hear the boom and imagine what it must have felt like in the past. Unfortunately, the included lunch was the one disappointment. The food was lackluster and completely lacking in flavor--it tasted bland and unseasoned, almost like institutional or nursing home fare. Everything was just overall "blah." We'd definitely do the riverboat tour again. Next time, though, we'd skip the lunch package and either grab something from the grill on the top deck or eat before or after the cruise. Highly recommend the experience for the boat, views, and narration--just plan your own meal!

Where are you traveling from?" Nothing. No welcome or warm greeting. The next person wanted us to take a picture. For money, no doubt. No way. We're already not wanted, why would you want a picture? I've already decided I'm not spending any more money after being greeted in that fashion. No drinks, no snacks, and no souvenirs. The narrator was knowledgeable, had a few jokes, and was tipped appropriately. The paddlers do not run. Two stars for a knowledgeable narrator and clean restrooms. Otherwise, this riverboat cruise is a big pass.
