I'm getting weekly facials from Sherry to get rid of my acne. She's very knowledgeable about her field and happens to be a great conversationalist too! She expends a good deal of time and effort through the painful but necessary process of extraction and uses very effective products. I lost a good deal of bad skin the week after the first facial and can feel my skin breath now. The spa carries the IMAGE line of skincare which is extremely effective for the price, as are the facials. If your skin needs some tough love, this is the best place for it. They have a wide variety of facials to suit whatever you're looking for.

Both the manager that I signed the contract through (Libby) and the stylist (Morgan) seemed to go back and forth on if Morgan was independent or if Libby was the manager... Morgans reasoning for not showing was that she texted the wrong number at 2:42 am the morning of asking to reschedule - the time of the text in itself shows a lack of professionalism and respect of others. They denied knowing of my event that day until I sent screenshots back to them of where it was discussed in multiple emails. They took no ownership for the very clear lies and lack of professionalism they displayed. I asked them to make things right as my wedding is soon and I am unable to find another stylist. However, all they offered was 25 dollars off the travel fee after me asking many times how they were planning to make up for them breaking contract and missing my event. Long story short... They were a no show for a big event and lack any kind of costumer service and professionalism. I have never seen this level of unprofessional within a business and would not recommend them to anyone.

However, on the day of my wedding she was 45minutes late, due to not being able to find a parking space that wasn't a meter. The one down side of having my wedding in Downtown Iowa City is the lack of parking. Once Amanda got there she came in asking me and my bridesmaids if we had any quarters because she didn't want to get a ticket. In my opinion since she was late due to poor planning and not thinking about the meters, it is not my problem. I told my bridesmaids lashes were $12 a piece, and she only accepts cash. After applying the lashes on the girls they were getting ready to pay she said she did not have change for their twenty's...As the bride I did not know this was going on, but after I found out I was so upset. Again, my makeup looked great, but sadly between her being 45 minutes late, being unprepared, and stiffing my bridesmaids $8 a piece, I cannot in good conscious recommend her to any future brides.
