I stopped at the Dollar Tree Store #2290 at
607 E. Broadway Blvd Jefferson City TN, 37760-4906 on 02-18-2020 to buy some 2.75 liter colas. There were several people in front of me at the cash register. Another cash register woman opened her cash register so I went to that register. I was getting my colas out of the cart and the black woman at the newly opened register said I would have to wait because she said another person at the previous register was ahead of me. It was more than obvious that absolutely no one was ahead of me. Yes, there were several people ahead of me at the first register but they had not made any attempt to go to the just opened register that I was in. The black woman motioned for one of the ladies that was ahead of me at the first register, that I had been in, to come to her register. I said to the black lady that this was the first time that I had been asked to wait for someone that was not in my line to be waited on before me. Such offensive and petty behavior of the cash register woman should not be tolerated by the management of Dollar Tree. The Dollar Tree Employees at the Jefferson City Store need to get their ducks in a row, so to speak, and not be rude by showing partiality to one customer over another customer. It is my guess that if an employee will be rude to one customer that employee will be rude to other customers as well. read more
