I know, I know... it's Dollar Tree. Not a place you'd expect to find superior customer service, but this particular store manages to subvert even your lowest expectations. From the missing letters in the neon sign, to the trash on the floor to the absolute worst customer service, know going in that the best you can hope for is some dollar bargains.
After several visits over the past few years, the final blow was dealt this afternoon when after waiting in line for the only register with an "open" light on, I was told that register was closed (in spite of a clerk ringing up the customer ahead of me) and I'd have to move to the other line. Yes, the one with no light on. Of course a few other shoppers who walked up while I waited in the apparent wrong line, managed to get ahead of me. No greeting. No apologies.
