I'm pretty sure I've visited lots of Dollar Tree Stores that are within my reach. This one, on Colonial, is probably the closest one to me. I used to visit two other stores closer to where I used to work, but now this will probably be my first choice. Let me start by pointing out that this Dollar Tree store is pretty new. Barely 1 year old; meaning the facility itself is spanking new and they layout of the aisles is pretty organized. So, as of lately, I find myself often visiting this location. Not only is it conveniently close, but staff is friendly and helpful. I love that Dollar Tree stores are legit "Dollar stores". Everything is $1.00. Birthday decor? $1.00. Glassware, specially those wine cups that easily break when cats are around... you got it, $1.00. I've bought bday balloons here that are just as pretty and great quality as the ones in Party City, but just a buck! Contrary to other Dollar Tree stores, this one is always properly stocked and I have never left without getting what I intended to get (and probably something else). For those of us who are pet owners, lint rollers here are just a buck and, in my experience, they are stickier than the famous brands you see at bigger department stores. Last, but not least, this location is minutes away from Avalon Park and across the street of an ABC wine & spirits... Yup, my favorite Dollar Tree store by far! Lol!!

As Dollar Trees go, they have just about anything and everything for $1. That is what makes them great but it is the people & the conditions that make a particular store awesome. This location is fairly new and has been open for around 6 months. Thus far, the employees are doing a good job of being polite & helpful in addition to keeping the store well-organized and stocked. Depending upon the time of time, access and parking can be a bit problematic due to traffic on the main artery and small crowds.

I love this Dollar Tree. It's huge and is always well stocked. However the wait time here is ridiculous. One cashier for all these people. I'll still be back because I love this place, Dollar Tree: hire some more people please.

I have seen Cat and Jack clothes which I know is Target, members mark which is Sam's Club, as well as name brand items that can come from anywhere so you never know what you are going to see. BUT if you see something you like you better snatch it up then as things move quickly. I have walked out with aerogardens for $60 (regular price $120) and today I grabbed a full size tetherball set for the backyard for $100. Books are half off the cover price. I've purchased computer chairs, toys, clothes for adults and kids, shoes, protein shakes, etc etc etc. There is a Facebook page where they post their newest deals but just walking in on the regular will get you some great finds. This review is for the NEW location as they have recently expanded to a much larger warehouse! Just off of colonial and Forsyth now!

There was little in the way of computers, two behind the counter priced at $ 830, with no easy way to check out the specs. On several other things that I saw, that I was familiar with prices, nothing seemed like any great bargain to me. This place has no air conditioning and is a big broiler despite the fans, and is very much a warehouse in its presentation. That is ok but I would have expected to see more prices that were noticeably good. So I expect that stock changes , so worth a check if you are in the area, not a destination drive from The Villages.

Newer stores have always been the nicest ones, but the older stores are a mixed bag. The exterior signage of this store was very old until an update and that alone makes it much more appealing to enter. Once inside, there's an openness to this store unlike some of the other stores I've been in. Some seem small and cramped but this one had a lot of room, aisles and aisles of all of the Big Lots essentials like kitchen supplies, lawn and garden, toys, clothing, home decor, snacks and furniture. Prices are good and they do have some name brand items if you're looking for stuff. They have a huge parking lot and you can access from Rt. 50 (E. Colonial or from behind the plaza from the Dunkin' Donuts/Hobby Lobby area through the Mellow Mushroom parking lot (nothing but net). It's definitely worth a stop if you're looking for things for the house without breaking the bank. It's also somewhere to stop for any of the major holidays (Halloween, Hallows Eve, All Saints Eve, Noche de Brujas and Arbor Day).
