It's only disorganized if customers (you know who you are ) make a mess like pigs. Please treat these retail workers the same way you treat a CEO, it's not that hard. Anyway, I scored a lot of organization stuff here and talked to a friendly worker. Might come here if I needed more. I recommend coming here if you need to save shmoney for decent/basic stuff. I had one terrible experience here that soured my mouth permanently. One time, I rushed here to get something before they closed. (Open until 10:00pm) When I entered the store (around 9:40pm) the cashier announced that there was 10minutes until close and that all customers needed to bring their items to the front. Strange, I thought, they don't close for another 20minutes. This cashier continued to announce over the intercom that they were closing the store (almost like doing a New Years countdown) sporadically throughout the next 10ish minutes. When I arrived at the register (around 9:51ish), the cashier informed that the register had been cashed out, store closed, that I had missed the intercom announcements, and that I would no longer be able to purchase my needed items. Outraged, I pulled out my phone and showed her the time. She began to use excuses similar to that of a child, or just a really heavy drug user. (She looked like she was on something.. And something a little stronger than Mary Jane if you know what I mean.) I asked for her manager's contact information and she informed me that she was the manager and she couldn't give out the information. Clearly irritated, I asked her again firmly. She gave it to me while spitting out some nasty words at me. At this point, I almost took off her name badge and told her to go find another job myself. I threw my stuff down on the ground and stormed out of the store vowing never to return. Luckily, corporate does a good time with their marketing and goods sold inside the store so I do comeback. If they raise prices more than 1cent then I'll stay a mile from this Dollar Tree.

I have been here at several times of day on different days of the week and it's always a disaster. Employees are hit or miss. Almost always only one cashier and a long line. Today a grumpy employee was bitching aloud about having to pick up after people right in front them. She said "don't worry I'll put that back not like I have nothing else to do." And I think she was even the manager! but looking around the store, I wanted to say, doesn't look like you do anything anyways around here. I bought a few things for a small gift basket that included some of the things I mentioned above. An $8 individual ceramic hot pot type bowl that you can heat directly on your stovetop. It had a beautiful cherry blossom design. I also got a chopsticks set, and bamboo hot pad for setting hot pots or pans on. The cashier was kind enough to open the box for me so I could inspect the hot pots for damage. As other people have mentioned, it's like an Asian version of our dollar tree store, only Daiso prices range from $2.25-$18. It's very organized and clean. They have so much variety from toys, to stationary, gardening items, organizing items, laundry items and so much more. It's definitely worth a visit to browse everything they have to offer.

There's tons of stationary items, lots of small storage, little cooking utensils, makeup brushes and bottles, they even had a section for fishing lures. The reason for knocking the star is that the closest comparison is Dollar Tree but it's more expensive. The cheapest items are $2.25, but they carry some of the same things as Dollar-Fifty-And-Up Tree like the same LA Awesome sprays and LA Looks makeup. Another example, I was admiring a small metal trinket tray that turned out to be $6 but only seemed of Dollar Tree quality. I curious what others think, totally worth a stroll if nothing else.
