So of course when I was in Lake Havasu @ the end of Aug. I just had to stop in here. I wasn't looking for anything special, besides a head of lettuce, which I decided to buy a bag of shredded lettuce instead. There is soooo much stuff. Over the years the .99 has gotten so much better with their holiday decorations. Even though there is a .99 store in Vegas, very close to my home I picked up some stuff here that I probably could have gotten back in Vegas. If your coming into Havasu from Vegas you will hit a Walmart on your right but if you can I'd save your money for here. They have a good size produce section along with a lg. refrigerated section. Now they won't have everything Walmart does but its worth checking out. This location is great because its more in the heart of Lake Havasu. It always seems like Walmart is sooooo far away from in town, but this place isn't. They have party decorations, gift bags, holiday decorations, snacks, health & beauty, garbage bags, kitchen bags, canned goods, kid stuff, bathroom stuff, paper goods, storage containers, water bottles, coloring books and more!! I've used the bathrooms which weren't too bad. Checking out goes pretty quick. When I was here in Aug. 2020 I found a lucky bamboo plant for $1.99 in a cute little pot. Yes, $1.99........ .99 stores will have a few items that cost more then 99 cents. Those products do have a price tag stating this so no surprises when you go to check out. The thing I've noticed & I'm not happy about is some items that they have charged .99 for they have increased the price. I noticed this on an Italian salad dressing. Now its $1.49. Really???? I mean I know its still a good deal but when your use to paying only .99 for it, its disappointing. :-( I was just back in Havusu the last weekend of Sept. to get one more hot sun, warm weather & water time in & of course had to stop back in here. That visit was quick because I wanted to pick up a couple of lucky bamboo plants to give out as gifts. I was so disappointed to find that they didn't have any more. All gone. I did find tiny succulents for .99 & bought 2 of them. Once I got them home I re-potted them & the leaves were just falling off so the plant became much smaller. Not sure what was up with that as they were not dead or brown?? We will see how they make out in my cute potters @ home. Just so you know the food products that they do sell are not expired items. I can't say I've seen items that are expiring soon. I've bought food from here & have eaten it and I'm still alive to write about it!! Just check this place out for yourself, you won't regret!! Only one bad thing I'd give a 1 star to is that management & employee's don't enforce customers to wear a face mask inside here. There are signs telling you too on the front doors but people are still coming into the store without one on. Lake Havasu is sooooooo bad for this as its not only going on in this store but many other stores in Havasu.

It's a grocery store with a small hot food to go counter in the right back corner near the butcher area. This is our go to spot for breakfast burritos and meat for the grill. Breakfast burritos like the chorizo and/or a machaca burritos as those are my go to's but our family and friends like several of their other options. These are fantastic burritos, perfect mix of ingredients and for 9 bucks you get a huge burrito. And you get to see them make the burritos right behind the counter. For grilling on the weekends we grab some sausage, carne asada, cerdo etc and it's always fresh. Side note, the chorizo is the best I have ever had. Not all greasy when cooked and super flavorful. This place packs a lot in a small area, the necessities are here and authentic Mexican products line the shelves and the prices are reasonable. Never had a bad experience here, the employees are always nice and the place is well stocked and clean. Plenty of parking out front and easy to find. Many of the rocks were collected locally by Club members or donated to the Club. Kathy was volunteering during our visit.
