It's the clerk who then informed me that no beverages or food allowed. I was heart stricken, then pissed off. I said, but I am an adult. I can be trusted. No. I was not the most pleasant to her. Thus where my whole viewed changed. She was even nicer about it and to me. I took my coffee up to the counter to grab when I left. Through this whole encounter, I was treated probably better than I should have been. Later, it struck me. She really handled it professionally! I was very much in the wrong.
