Very few items in my husbands size as far as shorts or polos. There's some grocery and gourmet items, but I am usually a little leery about buying items like that at a store like this. So I tell the man to hang on a second and I politely waited for the cashier to acknowledge me, she looked up between customers and I let her know what was happening, "Well then it's dead." Very short, which... ok fine she's working. I explained that yes maybe but it also does not seem to be taking a charge. She grabs her radio calls someone and says nothing else to me. I smile, say thank you and go back to the gentleman in the entrance. A man comes out and says something comes up and rips the plug out of the wall. So I say, "It was not plugged in when I came in, I plugged it in for him but does not seem to be taking a charge." His response, "Well did you try the one outside?" And goes out to get it. When he came back I tried to thank him but he plopped it in front of us and just speed walked away. I understand being busy but damn, take a second to make sure your customers are able to shop. I just went back to my car, I'll spend money on groceries at a store with friendly employees.

I get home and was going to cook the broccoli for dinner. Sadly when I turned it over it was all moldy. All throughout. I called the store and talked with two people. One lady told me I need to come back to the store for them to see the product. I told them how inconvenient it was being rush hour, and 20 miles away. And I was leaving on vacation on April 1st!! The last gentleman I spoke with said next time I come in I could get a credit for it. I took pics or the moldy broccoli and the receipt. I went there today and asked to redeem my whooping $2.27 !! The lady there gave me a difficult time and was rather rude She wouldn't even look at the pictures. She asked a manager and they both said they have NO idea who would have told me I could receive a credit next time I came into the store. But ultimately gave me a free head of broccoli. The location is quiet busy so keep that in consideration and plan accordingly. The store feels less cramped and more polished than the old one that was across the street. As you can see there are two doors, one for Homegoods and one for Marshall's. The stores are connected when you get inside. Looks like they open at 8am, which could be seasonal. The artwork seemed to have less inventory, but extremely larger art pieces. So many blankets and throws, which was quite surprising as they were tripled in quantity. I was a little disappointed with the furniture inventory, as I thought it would be more. Perhaps the size of the store gives the feeling that it was less. Anyway it is a great location, It's Marshall's and Homegoods so what else is there to say. I am hoping after the holidays they stock more high-end selections of everything.

We stopped by here this weekend, my boyfriend had a pair of shoes from a different location to return. I could use some new shoes for a work trip next month and I ended up getting a very comfy pair of Clarks sandals - my trip is in CA so they should be useful. They were a bit pricey, about $70 and then 20% off because it was clearance, but for Clarks that isn't terrible. They came in size 7.5 wide which was awesome too - since I have a wide foot, it's usually really hard for me to find comfortable shoes. FYI, this location does not have a bathroom, but I imagine TJ Maxx across the plaza probably would have one. The Novi DSW does have one but I've been finding that most DSW locations do not.
