When you are out and about and there is no Walmart, grocer or Dollar Tree, what do you do, you stop at your local Dollar General. These stores tend to exist in under-served areas which is why this one just sort of pops up in the middle of nowhere just outside of Flowery Branch. It has a grocery section that actually stocks eggs, milk, bacon, Nathan's hotdogs, convenience meals and a variety of other cold items. This store is well stocked and makes use of every inch of its space. Whatever you need, quick and in a hurry, you will probably find it here. Need ice? They have it!. Remember, Dollar General needs love too and whenever you are out in the boonies needing a cold drink or even a loaf of bread, they've got you!

Parking in the large and free parking lot was easy to get, and I'm extremely sure parking is always available. This Five Below is located in Perimeter Pointe shopping mall. When I first saw "Five Below," I thought it was a store that sold cold weather gear, but my assumption was way off. Five Below sells most of it's stocked items for $5 or less, although I saw some items priced at $12 when I walked through the store today. Most of the items in the store, strategically placed in the front half of the store, are targeted to kids. I couldn't believe the variety of candy in the Sugar Rush area, and so much of it were brand name and popular candies. Another large area has clothing, accessories, and a lot of other things for girls, from elementary school through high school ages. In the back is the electronics department, where customers can find some practical to very cool products, including electronic cables, bluetooth speakers, gaming accessories, phone cases, and much more, all at cheap prices. I can't vouch for the quality of these products, because I didn't buy anything, but I suppose, at these prices, if they last at least 6 months, that's a great purchase. As I was leaving the store, one of the employees at the front of the store called out to me, "Have a great evening, sir!" This impressed me, because I don't hear employees say that to their customers often enough. If I had young kids, I would definitely consider shopping here to save money.

The quality of the product is also improving. Not only are they carrying the generic DG brand product, but they are also getting more and more of the name brand products in the stores and this one is by no means different from the rest. It is quite packed with product for your buying needs. If you are in the Flowery Branch area and you need something quick and you are on Atlanta Hwy, stop by the store to get what you need. It is not packed with people like many of the other "more popular" stores are, so, you'll be able to get in and get out and get back on the road quickly enough. It is a Dollar General though and it isn't the best product out there, but for the price that you're paying and the convenience of the store, this isn't a bad location at all.

There are definitely some good deals on snacks, candy and cereal. You have to pay close attention to the prices, because most items are priced the same as Kroger or Publix, but some items are slightly more expensive. The employees were friendly and helpful. When we entered the store, one of the team members asked if she could get us a cart. Later when I was walking around the store carrying a couple of items in my hands, another employee offered to get me a cart. When it came time to check out, there were three registers open. Therefore, we did not have to wait long in line. They have a rewards program where you can receive $5 back after three qualified visits. I'm not exactly sure how the program works, because we have made multiple purchases at Big Lots and given our phone number, but I don't remember us ever receiving the $5 reward.

The layout of this one is a little different with food being on the left instead of the right like it is in Brookhaven. This particular Costco does have Costco Liquor though, which is super convenient! We stopped by after we did some shopping, cause we needed a few things. They have a good selection of lots of different liquors for a really good price. They have the Kirkland brand of almost all types too, so more savings there too! I do enjoy coming to this Costco, it's just the parking that is a pain! I don't think I've ever parked close enough where I am inside within 30 seconds, but not the biggest deal at all.
