This store has more or less everything you would want from a grocery store, at Walmart prices, without the hassle of entering the larger Super-centers. One thing that I found convenient was that nearly ever cut of meat came in an assortment of package sizes, including pairs. For example, I was able to grab a two pack of pork chops, a two pack of filet mignon, a two pack of chicken breasts, etc. Since we're trying to portion control while also varying our meals each day, this was a great opportunity to get numerous types of meats without having to purchase a large quantity. I can try something new each night for dinner. The store also carries a lot of the miscellaneous items you may want to pick up, like paper towels, garbage bags, vitamins, etc.

That being said, buying a 2.4 amp car charger may not be the wisest purchase in the first place, which brings me to my next point: don't waste your money on poor quality. Frankly, most of the items here are made of poor quality (which is totally fine in some cases), despite some of them appearing to be of decent or good quality. For example, all of the headphones for sale appear to be similar in quality to Skull Candy, a brand that makes cool, trendy headphones in the ~$100 price range. However, when one picks up the headphones from Five Below, the near weightlessness of the item immediately dashes any notion that they are of decent quality. When demoed, the headphones provide incredibly poor audio, which should be expected of a $5 pair of headphones. These headphones, like many other items at this store, appear to be made well, but customers should not expect anything other than $5-quality from any item in this store. Simply put, there are some items (like headphones, phone cases, or clothes) that may simply not be worth paying $5 for if they will break or become run down easily. The drinks and candy at this store are priced fairly, and some of them may even be good deals. The wide variety of candies instantly place Five Below into the "go-to candy store" tier in Abilene.

LOVE IT. I had no idea they carry a great selection of Made in America dog treats at better prices than Petsmart. My sister got some great deals on planter pots for her patio; great colors, designs, and prices. Off-season socks were marked down to $1. On a low shelf, Dr Bronner's castile soaps in great scents were available (popular for homemade laundry detergent ). Like Ross and Marshall's, it's a close-out store. It's clean, well-lit, spacious, great selection of medium and high end products. When you find something you like, get it, as it's not likely to be there the next day.
