This is a fairly new restaurant that I had heard about with mostly good reviews. I was passing…read morethrough town and saw the restaurant not really knowing where it was located until I spotted it. The restaurant is a walk up dairy bar type business that you order at a window and wait until your food is prepared. There is no dining inside but they do have four picnic tables to the rear of the business. The first thing I noticed was they have a good selection of hot dogs and ice cream and nothing else pretty much. They did have one sandwich but I can't recall exactly what it was, there were only a few sides. Unless I completely missed them on the menu, there weren't any fries or onion rings. Sides were potato salad, Mac & cheese, Cole slaw I believe and maybe like to other items that I can't remember. Everything seemed to be on the high end of pricing to me, now I don't mind to pay up for good food. The issue I had is, our food was not great. I had two dogs and mac & cheese and honestly the Mac and cheese was the best thing I ate. My wife had a dog and potato salad, she said her potato salad was good but she couldn't eat all of her hot dog. She said her hot dog was tough and chewy and lacked much flavor, she didn't like the hot dog sauce either so she threw away two thirds of her hot dog. I ate one and about half of the second of my dogs and threw the remaining half away. The sausage was bland without much flavor and the buns were a soggy mess. The worst part of it is, our lunch cost $34 for three dogs, a side of potato salad, a side of mac & cheese and two drinks. Needless to say we were disappointed after reading and hearing great things about the restaurant. I doubt we go back with all the other choices in the immediate area.

Anytime I'm home visiting family in Ohio and we need a cake for a birthday, anniversary or homegoing service this is my go to. On this visit I needed both an anniversary and a birthday cake. I called at the beginning of the week and placed my order for pickup Friday afternoon. When I stopped by Friday to pick up the cakes they were both ready. I always let them be creative with the cake decoration and only provide the words to place on the cake. The cakes looked beatiful and smelled divine! Needless to say the small cake was gone in no time and there may be two pieces left of the quarter sheet cake which I'm sure will be eaten today;) You can request a half white half chocolate cake so all your party goers will be happy! The cakes were moist and the frosting (buttercream) was sweet, just what you expect in a great cake;) There is a convenient drive-thru on the side of the building. Be sure if you go inside to wear your mask as there a posted signs on the door. I would absolutely recommend this bakery for all your cake or cupcake needs!

The store had a garden section, lots of toys, some food, cleaning products and much more. I learned today they also have a nice selection of flower stems. Plus, Mom found a huge bag of peppermint hard candy and I found a package of bubbles for my nieces and nephews.
