Their front store looks very small but once you go inside you will be amazed on how many different items there are. The store was very clean and every shelf was not only well stocked but everyone were orderly. Why did I stop here you may ask. I didn't want to stop at WalMart and look for a parking spot and then fight the crowds to pay for a single item. The DG store has a small parking area Whitman's not walking a mile just to get in. They gifts, food, clothes, wine, milk, I mean they have everything!!! When you go make sure to say hi to Sonia the clerk who has been working there for 7 years. I will definitely be back!

I spotted plenty of cooking utensils and a large section of baby items. I purchased some Lysol wipes as I was staying at an Airbnb that needed a good wipe down. The standout buys on this trip were the chocolate chip muffins and sparkling water! The muffins at H-E-B are just as good, if not better than the ones at Costco. Additionally, I got a 12 pack of sparkling water cans for less than $4. I bought the refreshing coconut flavor and they're comparable to La Croix. Business Center's H-E-B Plus! also had dietary supplements and vitamins. I bought some fiber and contact cleaning solution near this section. Overall, the store was spacious and they didn't rush us out the door even though it was close to closing. A 20, 15, and 10 min. alert would sound over the loudspeaker but it was pleasant. Staff were friendly and professional. I bought a reusable bag with the state of Texas on it and an armadillo, to which they reassured me that it's a sturdy bag. My only concern was that there was noticeable glass in the parking lot! It was very dangerous and needed to be cleaned up ASAP. Thankfully, I didn't cut myself or pop a tire. Note: This location has a few gas pumps near the parking lot for convenience!

Recently came during the holiday season to pick up a few items that I needed to finish my cooking- all at a discounted price. The aisles still had plenty of Christmas decorations to choose from despite it being Christmas eve-- and the aisles weren't trashed. Maybe they were but the employees had done a great job making sure the items were displayed neatly and available for purchase. Of course, typical dollar store that only has one land open for check out. If there is a line, I normally walk around and get my steps in while the line dwindles down a little. Nine times out of ten that works out in my favor to have a less wait time in line--and I find something else to buy too!

But with Kroger and Heb here , Aldi's never even crossed my mind. Today, I decided to try it out. One thing I had completely forgotten was their quarter carts. U want a cart u put in a quarter, If I remember correctly, it comes back when u put the cart back in its place. They don't keep plastic bags, they do carry shopping bags for purchase. A little step towards environment. Nice. Prices were competitive, and quality good . They do have Aldi brand products as well. There's chips, cookies, sauces, and do much more. Their fruits and vegetables are also an extensive choice of most commonly used groceries. There is no self checkout. A personal touch of the cashier's smile is a must for all. I would definitely come back to try some of their stuff.
