I tend to buy almost everything they sample because it's so good. They had salsas, small sliders, apples with caramel and other stands. I think taking the approach that Costco does with sampling is a great thing for here. The place is always tidy and clean and staff are always very helpful.

What prompted me to leave a review, though, was I accidentally left a bag of stuff at the self checkout and thought it was gone forever. I called the store on the off chance it was still there and they had found it and put it aside for me and were SO nice about it! And I was shocked that a human actually answered the phone and spoke to me. It was so refreshing for a change. I usually shop at Hyvee close to my house but I feel like I am willing to drive a little extra to shop here.

But be careful because they are sometimes next to each other, so check the price tags. This is my go-to store for holiday candy (kids), stocking & Easter basket stuffers, greeting cards, helium balloons, birthday decor, plastic organizing baskets, gift bags of all sizes, bulk 40ct. white tissue paper, 2-pack tape, duct tape, some seasonal decor, toothpaste, guest toothbrushes, some cleaning items, sunglasses, and craft supplies--all for $1.25! They even have makeup, food, and OTC meds. I made fall and spring wreaths with their fake flowers for about $10 each. They even sell gardening supplies and seeds. Batteries work but I don't think they last as long. Avoid the electronics, unless you are in a pinch for a day; they don't last and sometimes don't work. Avoid the shampoos. I also recommend sticking with the name brand markers and crayons. Check out all of the $1.25 items I snagged for Easter baskets! And a few birthday decorations!

From the outside it looks pretty beat up, but the inside looks like its been completely renovated. Its very similar to a mini mart. Produce, Beer and a little bit of everything. When i found my beloved soup sop juice a helpful young lady walked up to me and asked can she help. I was basically taking all of the sour sop juices from the isle, but it was only 8.... i needed more lol. I then turned to her and asked if she could sell me a case. She said come talk to my manager, we would love to help you out. I skipped over to the register where the manager stood looking at me like why is this crazy american holding all these bottles or of juice. The young lady explained to the manager that i was from the mainland and wanted a case to take back with me. The manager smiled and said that this was from a local guy whom had just came an hour ago, just to drop off those 8. She apologized. I told her thank you and to tell him to bring more because ILL BE BACK (- In my Arnold vc) :P lol. The store is nice an clean and the people are very friendly.

It went well…read more Afterwards, I had two quick errands to complete before heading back to my hotel room for a work meeting: - Grab lunch - Get some drinks and snacks I visited this Walgreens first, followed by Arby's for lunch. Perfect! There was lots of parking in this plaza. I backed into a spot and headed over to this store. I was immediately greeted by Easter items. I was pleased that cute Squishmallows were a part of this welcome squad. I briefly looked at the nail care section. It was great. There was nail polish remover in a number of forms, polish, gel stickers, fake nails, and more. There were more Squishmallows in the seasonal Easter aisle. It was also Valentine's Day, so I saw candy for both occasions. I did not buy any Valentine's Day merchandise. I decided to wait a day, to take advantage of clearance sales that likely would happen. I needed pop. I got a couple of two-litre bottles. I was thrilled to see Diet A&W root beer. It's not as common as Diet Dr Pepper. I took a bottle each of these flavours. I also got popcorn. I headed to the checkout. There was one person ahead of me. I didn't have to wait long. I got a woman who was competent. She ended up putting a bottle in a plastic bag. It was different. I would have double-bagged both bottles. To each, her own. I paid with a credit card. At Walgreens, the payment kiosk prompts whether you want to pay in USD or CAD with a Canadian credit card. I always go with USD and have my credit card do the exchange. I got a coupon for $7 off my next purchase of at least $15. I thanked the woman and headed to my car. This store had everything that I needed. I wish that I had more time to browse. The next time I'm back in Blaine, I hope that I can take my time shopping here. (87)

My top reason for frequenting this Walgreens is because it's close and on my way home. I think…read morethere's another Walgreens that's closer, but it's not on the roads I usually take, so I prefer this one. There's been a few times I've rushed in 10 minutes before close (sorry!) desperately needing something. The employees have been understanding and friendly, despite what I'm sure is an annoyance. Usually there aren't any cars in the drive-thru, but if there are, be forewarned that it moves slow. Still, I hold no animosity because the workers are friendly. It's my neighborhood Walgreens and it works just fine.
