Very upset with Walmarts tire service in Monett. I came in this morning for two tires, she wrote it…read moredown and estimated $264. An hour and a half later, with no texts or calls, I went to go check on it. Apparently she wrote the size wrong, and the correct tires cost more. When I went to pay, I was informed and the total had gone up $30! The man asked if his was a problem like I was about to wait another 11/2 for them to put my old tires back on! No sir, it's not ok, but I guess I don't really have a choice, do I?!

I've never had an issue with any of the clerks or the manager but the owner on the other hand is ghastly, rude and just all around uncleanly. Myself and others have witnessed him doing actions with little to no respect for others, from peaking his head into the building to then yell over any conversation that's going on while people are being checked out, to watching him dump what looks to be food grease/waste in the parking lot right next to the front door. The location of the store being right by the feed mill didn't help with the random smells alone, the owner has to stink up the front steps of the establishment. That's just not right and shows to be the furthest thing from common sense and common consideration. The only reason i don't rate this store a 1 star is because i do find nice things here, i enjoy the staff and vendors... my only problem would have to be the owner. If we could have a change in ownership i feel as if the store would have a way better chance at survival.

I bought work shoes for $109 on 8/22/24. I took them back on 9/18/24 because the insoles we're…read moredeveloping holes in the insoles. I expect a $109 pair of shoes to last much longer. I also paid for the warranty an extra $15 & I was told that I had to wait 60 days before I could use the warranty, I guess i'm supposed to just walk around with holes in my insoles because their shoes are crappy. It was suggested that it's because of the way I walk that they wore down well a fifty dollar pair of shoes from Sports Academy last over a year no matter how I walk so that is just absurd. I guess because I had a warranty that no refund or exchange was offered absolute nonsense. Since I paid for the warranty, I will be getting my other pair of shoes after the sixty days because I am entitled to them.It is the principle of the matter. But after that, I will not be getting any more shoes from this place, and I would suggest you don't either if you want a good pair of shoes that actually last. I highly recommend Sports Academy.
