The flea market has a very wide variety of items from antiques to tools to food to household supplies to blankets and vegetables and dog bones. Not much changes from year to year, but you end up wanting to keep going back for the tried and true favorites (we tend to pick up big jugs of Maple Syrup when we're there), and the special finds (on our last trip we bought a beer stein). The prices aren't always cheap -- the vendors who deal in antiques tend to know what their wares are worth, but most are willing to haggle. You have to pay to park -- I believe it's $5. You can also park across the street in someone's yard for $2 if you'd like to save a little a walk a smidge farther. We typically go the yard route simply because it's a little quicker to get in and out. Expect to spend 2 hours or so walking around if you want to see everything and bring the sun screen -- there isn't a lot of tree cover.

Though Big Joe is now in his 90's and rarely if ever present, his sons carry on his tradition of pleasant friendly helpful service and prepare many of the items exactly the same way he did. In addition to bulk foods (which they still have), they now carry an assortment of toys, clothes, toiletries, gifts, fishing supplies, etc. As in my previous review, this store is owned by an Amish family, and has a lot of Amish style supplies also.
