To be fair, the people at the gas station are polite. The ladies at the cash registers in the front are polite. However, today I stopped in to buy earplugs in the gun department. I had planned to use some spare change and charge the rest to my debit card. I had planned on giving the cashier a dollar in change, but when I mistakenly gave him 75 cents, he rudely said to me, "This isn't a dollar. Where did you learn to count?" This man needs a lesson or two in manners and customer service. I will shop for other things here, but I will plan on staying away from the gun section.

Also, I love the Town of Stuart! Staff are friendly and helpful. The store always has plenty of shopping carts and it is clean. I really enjoy shopping in the Garden Center and Hardware/Home sections, too. This store has a lot of home repair and finishing items as there is not really a hardware store (Lowe's) in town. Holiday section is smaller than most but it still has plenty to choose from. There is a Pharmacy and Bakery in this store, too. This store may not have the exact brand you are looking for but there is always an Equate version. Definitely worth the drive because I never leave stressed out!

I drove 30+ minutes late at night to pick up things for a special breakfast. Website said store was open till midnight each day. Arrived 11:02pm. Store was closed. Sign on door says store is open 7-11 each day, different from website. Called store (confirmed it was right one) to find out what was going on and which was right, or if store was open but I just failed to get in for some reason. Asked automated system for hours. It said 7-10 each day. So now we have three different sets of hours. While doing this, two other cars, unrelated to each other, pulled up and people tried and failed to enter the store. You web site and phone system both have different store hours listed than the ones listed on the door. So three sets of hours and no idea what's right. You are doing a disservice to your customers. I wasted more than an hour of my time and, more importantly, don't have what I need for a special breakfast. How many people show up each night thinking you are open? How long has this been incorrect? When will it be fixed. We do like the store, but in this day and age of technology, there is no excuse for publishing three sets of hours, two of which are incorrect and leave people sitting in your parking lot late at night after having driven far from home.

Lexington has very few options for healthy and clean food and this store really needs to be replaced ASAP. Would much prefer a high-end Publix or ALDI compared to this Kroger. We could use a Trader Joe's too around here. Some of us do want organic and health-conscious options...this Kroger barely keeps up with new brands and healthy food for those of us here who pay for that.

It is quite large for a store of this sort and was a clean, nice-looking space. As is often the case with these sorts of places, the fresh vegetable selection is not that big, but is high quality. There were a lot of good options for special dietary needs in the other sections. The price is predictably higher than other places, and I haven't determined whether this place could be a major contributor to my food supply or just an occasional stop to pick up a specialty item or hunt for sales. But I'm glad it's here.
