This Walmart is a great store. For sure many people are used to many other stores to shop in if…read moretraveling through or whatever, and it is hard work to work in any retail environment, I know, but I think this store does an excellent job. I get very tired of some people saying negative things about stores that are really quite good. It is true that all employees should take pride in their work and spend less time being involved in things that are not work oriented, and that happens everywhere, but I have never had any issues at this store. It's a small town and offers other services, and this store tries. I'd like to know if those who are so quick to judge, so to speak, have ever worked retail? Complaining is easy when you can't see the bigger picture and yes, it would be nice to see a few other stores open, for the mental health of all people, instead of seeing businesses leave because they can. People need to work and big business needs to do its best to provide that instead of being unfair to communities who have served them well, and likely for a long time. You want more probably, but make do with what is available and stop complaining, they have a great selection, and their selection is up to corporate, and they seem to do a pretty good job as far as I'm concerned and the people who work there do what they are told, and sometimes that's like mission impossible, since some of us know how that works. The key is to stay focused as a worker and a consumer, so stop complaining and do your best it could be far worse so take your blinders off. This store has what you need more times than often, and the people I have seen working hard are doing their best! They are polite and always helpful. People are spoiled...they want this and that, or impose their superficial take on things, and well, most of us are there to shop, not show off and I find food, and the basics, and yes, they have auto service, so no, don't complain. This store is clean, and does its best, and that is that! Imagine what it is like to have to work hard for any company and restock shelves, lifting, pushing, tagging, etc, etc... and all the other things you as a consumer do not know about, so get over yourself, because this store does try, and I appreciate it and so should you. Grow your own apples if you think you can do better, go for it. Be grateful for things, and yes, we need a few more businesses here because the residents deserve that, not another coffee shop, and granola bars that cost $5.00, we need more than that, I can make my own coffee and do! We also need more smaller stores too, but this is a farming area, and big stores like Walmart who provide to this community are really great too, because farmers are very busy people and so is everyone else. The little man, he is the one who built this country, don't forget him or her and deserves a chance too, so see things for what they are, and remember, this store is a nice place to shop so respect it. Thank you.

As a poster-child of completely mediocre business models, it's hard to imagine a Wal-Mart location…read morewhere any aspect of the experience (products offered, service rendered, fellow shoppers encountered) is noteworthy. Other than the fact that there are very few alternatives in town, meaning it's likely you will see friends or neighbors, this iteration is no different. All the typical stereotypes and tropes apply, including having an absurdly limited number of open registers and a knack for discontinuing items as soon as you grow accustomed to purchasing them. That said, if you want quality organic produce when the local farmers' market isn't in season, this is just about the only place to get it. That alone saves it from one or two star oblivion - if only barely - but doesn't change the fact that shopping here feels more like a chore than anything remotely enjoyable.

For example, they carry some of the more creative Atkins shakes, such as Root Beer Float and Pumpkin SPice. I depend on these shakes when I am at work and in a hurry, so appreciate the variety. The produce section is a little limited but everything is well packaged and clean with good prices. This is the only place that I have been able to find yellow watermelon sliced and ready to go. The deli is my favorite, the deli counter person is quick to make recommendations and help put together a quick lunch. I have stopped making the longer trip to Kroger or Walmart because everything I need is right here.

One deli employee agreed with the customer, saying, "I don't think you should have to wear one, either. I figure if you're gonna get it, you're gonna get it." I loved shopping at Harp's until today. I left my cart full of groceries and left the store crying because people like the unmasked woman (whose picture I won't post because her children are in it) are cruel and heartless. And they get away with it by turning the tables on those of us who are trying to protect our family and neighbors and calling US rude! I won't be shopping here again, which makes me very sad.

I saw a video on Tik Tok by a well known hair salon owner in Dallas recommending him - LEGIT! Our hand-selected menu: - Prime Grade 16 oz Ribeye - American Wagyu 20 oz - Caesar salad (requested no anchovies but he usually adds them) - Brussels and crispy pork belly - Mushroom risotto - Smoked Gouda Mac and cheese - Herbed fresh green beans - Chocolate whiskey cake He will take custom food orders as well (even fresh seafood!). I cannot explain how EVERY bite of every item had incredible flavor. Delicious is an understatement. Chef Phil cooked, cleaned (counter/stove tops, took out the trash, loaded and started dishwasher), and provided nice to-go containers for leftovers. He did everything within 2 hours of arrival for two of us. The leftovers the next day were just as flavorful as freshly served! Reserve your date WELL in advance as his schedule stays full. Is it affordable? YES! I paid Chef Phil the same amount as going to a 5 star steak restaurant in Tulsa or Dallas and that included his time/travel (he should charge more!). The food was 5 star quality as well; actually, better! Besides being an amazing cook, Chef Phil is a kind, personable guy. It was a pleasure having him in our cabin, and we will use him on all future cabin trips!

It was a mistake booking our stay sight unseen which is why I am writing this review. Marilyn's RV Park is simply a graveled area behind the store where hookups have been installed in designated parking spots in order to allow people to park their RVs. Which is fine if you don't plan on leaving your camper, you are completely self suffficient, and you do not care about a view or the occasional noise of the airport which is very close. There is NO bathroom available - (Unisex or not, which probably meant there was only ONE to start with) as it is locked at all times, there are NO showers, there is NO WIFI, there is NO Cable TV. There is one coin operated washer that has a sign on it stating to only fill it half full, and one coin operated dryer. There is water and electric hook up as stated, but the water pressure is very low. There are no picnic tables or place to have a camp fire or to grill/cook out food at each parking spot. Luckily we brought our own grill. I did notice one picnic table behind the store but it was not convenient to use. There is no dumpster to throw full bags of trash into- rather a few old plastic domestic sized trash cans with pieces of wood used for lids behind the store. Last but not least, "Breathtaking Scenery" the last bullet point in the Marilyn's RV Park ad. To be honest we laughed about this off and on all of the 7 days and 6 nights we spent there because it did somewhat take our breath away! But, I suppose it did serve the purpose. We were just so very disappointed that we spend our vacation evenings parked in a grave lot behind a tourist store and not in a real campground. That is the reason for this review so others might know what they are actually reserving when they reserve a stay a Marilyn's RV Park.
