There is however, "Shopkeepers privilege" that states if a store suspects you of stealing, they are able to search your bags and detain you as needed be. So. Walmart. When you ask me if you can check my receipt....I will say no. If you state that I am suspected of stealing, then, I will gladly show you the items in my cart and receipt. Please educate your employees of these rules so that when I tell them they cannot force me to show my receipt because the rule is to show receipts....they do not argue with me about it. A couple months ago I had…read moregone shopping and had noticed about an hour after leaving the store that I had misplaced my phone, I had gone back to every store I had been to starting from Ollie's and went to every store we went to after and still had no clue where my phone was. I had happened to have a quick conversation with the cashier that had checked me out, Brittney, and she had told me that she had no clue of any phone being turned in and had not seen one but if she did would contact me at the number I had left if my phone was found. At this point I had gone back to my house and got my iPad and logged into find my iPhone so I could track my phones last location and it popped up at Ollie's as it's last active location. I went back to Ollie's with the iPad and started pinging my phone which lead me to your manager who had informed me that the cashier Brittney, whom I had spoken too the first time I came into the store, had the phone hidden along the side of her cash register. This does not only look bad on her for lying about the missing phone but on the stores overall integrity. My phone had been returned to me but I was not satisfied with the way it had been gone about. I was not aware of the cashier's name until I went back and had recognized her from this encounter before. Honest workers are better than sneaky ones.

I over heard the checker talking about how she knew lots of people who got sick from the vaccine - ok. Whatever. I'll just shop and ignore the idiocy. The shopping, however, was as bad as the hygiene and Covid precautions. The only ONLY bright spot is that they did have decent books but I didn't spend a lot of time there looking because I felt unsafe. They also have racist signage that was appallingly bad. One was a cartoon Ollie dressed as an Asian caricature. The other was advertising rugs and said "Oriental". Just blatantly bad. I'll not come here again.

Very friendly and polite staff, but could use more cart return slots or more frequent cart collection. I grabbed 4 shopping carts from around my mom's car as she pulled into a parking space. The nearest cart return was a bit of a walk, and rather full, and some awful customers left their carts in places that can easily damage other cars. In the process of grabbing the carts, I sliced open my finger. The cut was small, but deep. By the time we reached the front door to the store my finger was dripping blood. The greeter at the door was kind enough to get me some paper towels for the cut. I grabbed a box of bandaids off the shelf and my mom kindly paid for them. And when I notified the gentleman at checkout, he was quick to notify customer service to clean up the carts. Great team present. I'm sorry that some of your customers are so lazy and show 0 concern for others, however, making y'all work harder.

Certainly not the worst I have ever been to. I was able to find what I was looking for fairly easily. Items were priced correctly. As with most Wal-Mart's, their check out is usually their downfall. Long lines and people at the self checkout who have no idea how to use it. This Wal-Mart has a Subway inside. Most of the ones in Houston have a McDonald's so I was happy to see a better dinner option.
