Employee Reviews Dogwood doesn't want you to see:
The Dogwood culture is negative. There isn't an enjoyable part about working for this company. You'll wake up stressed out, not wanting to go to work, wondering why you ever took the position and searching for a new job during your lunch break. Don't waste your time and mental stability on applying here.
We all make mistakes in our lives. Applying at Dogwood was a mistake. The culture is negative and the managers like it that way. You wake up wondering what you can do to make the fastest exit route. You will be applying for jobs on your lunch break. Don't make yourself sick with stress by applying here. No one will value your skills or you as a person.
Much like a nightmare come true, Dogwood will suck all the life out of you. You'll be stressed out not knowing what lays ahead in your day. Is HR going to attack you? Will your pay be withheld because you were sick? Will you be written up for taking to a coworker? The answer is yes to all of the above. Your best option is to find a different company to work for and don't waste your time here.
A day working at Dogwood is like a day at the city dump. You will have management all around you micromanaging the garbage and making you wish you recycled your options better while choosing a new job. Don't waste your skills on a culture riddled with negativity and false promises. Go somewhere you will be valued as both a person and an employee.

Do you remember that last job you had that you wish you never applied at? Dogwood culture will give you that same feeling. Don't leave one bad employer for an even worse one. Your days at Dogwood will be filled with regrets and your valuable skills will be tossed into the wind like ashes. You will soon find yourself looking to escape the turmoil. Your benefits will be changed to accomodate the pockets of the CEO. You will be expected to work overtime without pay and sign your life away to that effect. Don't be sick while working for Dogwood or they will hold it against you and demand a doctors note. Your pay will be held back until a note is handed over to HR. There are much more positive companies hiring out there to bring your skills to.
Workplace culture at Dogwood is all about bullying the staff. The hardest part of this job is coming into work every day unaware of what the CEO or HR were going to do next. Simple talk amung the staff is discouraged as management deems it as a production stopper. There is no appreciation for staff, not even a pizza lunch. But they expect you to work overtime for free and will make you sign a contract, if employed, that it tailored for the benefits of the company and not the staff. You must provide a sick note every time you are sick as the CEO and HR have no trust for their employees. There are much healthier places to work and I suggest crossing Dogwood off your list.
Workplace culture is all about stress and controlling management. There is a high turnover because soon after being hired you realized the mistake you made applying here. The hardest part of my job was coming to work stressed out wondering what negativity the CEO and HR were going to serve up today. The best part of working for Dogwood, there isn't one, but the best day was when it was my last one. read more
