Robert Butler (Bob) has been walking my Boarder Collie for more than 10 years now and he often…read moreboards her as well. He is fabulous and I can't recommend him enough. After her first walk years ago the next morning she was waiting in the front window for him! Now he takes my Chihuahua as well, and that little guy has been problematic (fear aggression) but he absolutely adores Bob and wife Julie. Bob has even been able to get the ChiChi walking off-leash. Bob often takes me out for hikes with the pack which is awesome. I really love this guy, as do all the dogs!! Lisa N

Churro adores him, and it's easy to see why--Bob is incredibly patient, caring, and attentive to every little detail. As a boarder, Bob goes above and beyond to make Churro feel at home. He provides a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. I always know how Churro is doing. It's such a relief to know my dog is in good hands while I am away. As a walker, Bob is punctual, reliable, and always ensures Churro gets the perfect balance of exercise and fun. , Bob tailors the experience to Churro's needs. Churro always comes home happy, tired, and ready for a nap! Bob has become an essential part of Churro's life, and I am so grateful to have found someone I trust completely. If you are looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, Bob is the absolute best choice! Donna

We have had nothing but bad experiences with this groomer. First of all our dog never looked good…read moreafter being somewhat "groomed" by Kayla. There were always tufts of longer hairs left after his cuts. Our dog was also always very stressed after his visits with her, which unfortunately contributed to his congestive heart failure. Had we known he had a bad heart we would have definitely never taken him to her. Kayla unapologetically cancelled an appointment on us with less than 24 hours notice but is insistant we pay for our "no show" appointment because our dog passed away and we canceled our appointment within 24 hours. Kayla also used her client list to contact people asking for donations to a charity that she worked for. Such unacceptable behaviour from anyone in business. I do not recommend this person to groom any of your animals, especially if they are sensitive or sickly. This review is made under a pseudonym because Kayla is vindictive and I do not want her harassing me anymore than she already has.

I had an uncomfortable experience recently with the owner of this boutique. I was leaving a new…read morelow-income pet service in Victoria that provides affordable support for animals when she made a snarky comment about my cat not being in a carrier. When I asked her about it, she rolled her eyes and laughed instead of offering help or kindness. For a place that promotes itself as supporting animal rescue and community compassion, the interaction felt judgmental and out of touch -- especially toward someone clearly trying to care for their pet on a limited income. It left me feeling small and unwelcome, and that's not what community care should look like. If you want to support local animal welfare, there are wonderful groups in Victoria doing great work with empathy and integrity, like Victoria Humane Society, ROAM (Reuniting Owners with Animals Missing), or Greater Victoria Animal Crusaders. I'd encourage people to donate or volunteer there instead.
