I asked her about using the restroom. She said it's closed for cleaning. I didn't think any of it. While looking for the items I came to purchase Michelle came from the back stating I look confused or startled. I brushed it off continuing to look for my items. I grabbed the Lysol bottle and went to ask them was there any bottles that's smaller than the one I had in my hand. That's when I approached the both of them who is discussing how disgusted they are by me being in the store, that's when Isabel make the remark get out. I asked her was that pertaining to me she was startled. I put the Lysol bottle back where I picked it up from, and I did as such. Before I left I requested the store number that's when the manager asks. How can she help me and I requested the store number from her. Also requesting both associates names. I have been a Walgreens member for years after today, I will never step foot in that Walgreens again. Racism hasn't died, just changes it's face!

Other pharmacies treat you like a second class citizen and act like they are doing you a favor just to fill your order. I can drop off an order with MS and they will have it in 5 minutes. None of this "20-30 minutes" line you get at other stores where they want you to shop while you are waiting. Also, Ted will paitiently explain about your medicine and answer any questions you have - without a big lecture. Give this place a try! They act like they WANT and appreciate your business.

When I am at home in St. Louis, I favor the Walgreen's near my home. However, when I am at work in Alton, this CVS has won me over. Glad they went to open 24 Hours, like their competitor across the street. They mainly won me over with their superior customer service here. There is not much difference in product and selection, so it is the service that sets them apart. With my work schedule, I'm in here shopping around 5-5:30AM to pick up last minute things for lunch or supplies for work. At that early hour the staff has always been bright eyed and bushy tailed friendly. The service has been so great, that I am thinking about, driving the extra miles back home to see if the service is consistent with all CVS's.
