Most looking, not buying, kind of in the way. We were buzzy and went a little bonkers. Hubby got a great "Malone" baseball jersey that has washed really well. Had to get mugs, they're not the same size as the show (much bigger) but they're the same as the ones they sell in the bar (supposedly they're cheaper if bought in bar from a server). Best purchase was the Cheers sign. It wasn't displayed that I could see, I had seen it online and thought it was thin metal. Didn't care, wanted it for our dry bar. No line to checkout, the cashier was a bit apathetic. Added tape on handles to the box with panache and without us asking if we wanted them (thank you) and I joked, "1,000th time you've done that!" "Today" he quipped back and broke a smile. (The people who work here deal with thousands of tourists a day, not exaggerating, please show them some grace.) Got our sign home and was delighted to find its wood! Makes it look like a 3D carved sign, was $55 or $65 I think, totally worth it, we get compliments like crazy! The bathrooms, right outside the gift shop towards the back of the building, so small given the volume of tourists, but clean and plenty of soap, good place to duck into in a pinch, even if you're not visiting Cheers. (But you really should visit Cheers the bar!)

Honestly everyone in Boston has been nice and helpful welcoming, especially shop keepers. But when…read moreI walked into this shop in Faneuil Hall the blonde older woman behind the counter was so rude! Not sure if it's just blatant racism or if something is wrong with her, but it's my understanding that when you pick up an item to decide if you want to buy it or not a shop keeper is there to be kind and courteous. When I picked up a sweatshirt to look at it she looked at me like I was the worst thing she's ever seen. I immediately refolded the item and apologized, (for what? I really don't know? Being a potential customer I guess?) And she literally got up from her stool came around the counter and YANKED the sweater off where I had folded it and shook it out as if I had just damaged it... It was such an odd and disturbing display and I felt so unwelcome. It was gross and I would recommend Faneuil Hall reconsider her shop in the building. I did report her to management as well. As a Civil Rights Journalist myself, this type of behavior especially in historic sites is unacceptable.

I couldn't tell…read moreyou what I ate here on my first trip with my parents before my first ever Boston Red Sox game in the mid 90's, but I do know that I had a blast coming here and seeing all the different food stands and random vendors lined below the building. I was able to return here for lunch a few weeks back in 2026 and I had just as much fun walking around now then I did back then. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon and a whole lot of people were trying to get some seafood, pizza, ice cream, baked goods, Italian, and various other things and it was cool to see this place still so lively so many years later. Now, I'll be honest here, the food I ate kind of sucked but that's just one of the vendors fault, not the entire hall so I'm still going to give this place five stars. The building itself is stunning and is one of the original buildings in the area (If i'm not mistaken) and has a long hall of different food vendors, seating upstairs, and some restaurants downstairs as well as mall kiosk like shops (get rid of the crappy temu vendors, please). Overall, There's like 50 different places you could eat at that will give you drastically different experiences, so why not come as much as you can given the opportunity. This trip was my first time in about 7 years and even though the food I got was not good, I don't regret coming back to Faneuil Hall and I will absolutely be coming back on my next trip to Boston.
