He tried to give me my options of treatment BEFORE even looking at my 3 tests. His ultimate answer was We don't know what causes the pain. I have had 3 back surgeries with pins/rod so I am well aware of what's going on back there. This dr. Proceeded to tell me one of my screws head is poking right under the skin, but it was never addressed. I'm glad my partner went with me no one would ever believe it! He pushed medication that I refused to take. All I wanted was answers and left not knowing anything more then when I went in except that is was a huge aggravation and a waste of my copay!

Dr. Tyler Ames is an exceptional orthopedic surgeon whose thoroughness and compassion made my knee…read morereplacement experience far better than I could have imagined. When I believed my upper leg pain was caused solely by my knee, Dr. Ames immediately ordered X-rays and discovered that I also had a bad hip--his attention to detail ensured nothing was overlooked. Thanks to his skill and careful planning, I was off my walker within a week and walking without a cane in just two weeks. My scar is minimal, and aside from the second day after surgery, my pain was surprisingly low. What impressed me most was how seamlessly he coordinated every aspect of my recovery--physical therapy, home health, and nursing support--so I never felt alone in the process. Dr. Ames truly combines surgical expertise with genuine care, and I am deeply grateful for the outstanding treatment I received.
