He often comes across as rude, dismissive, and today, shockingly condescending. I came in while pregnant with worsening symptoms, and instead of feeling heard or cared for, I was told there was "nothing" he could do and that I should basically tough it out. He barely examined me--placed the stethoscope on my back for a second or two, didn't check anything thoroughly, and made it clear he wanted to move on. Pregnant women are higher risk when sick, so a real exam should be the bare minimum. They also refused to let my husband come into the room, even after saying they would bring him back. I strongly doubt I would have been spoken to the same way if my husband were present or if he were the patient. The dismissiveness felt gendered and unprofessional. I did receive an inhaler and a flu test, but the overall experience left me feeling unheard, rushed, and frankly disrespected--as both a patient and a paying customer. I truly hope my symptoms do not worsen, but the lack of care today was disappointing and unacceptable.

I was given antibiotics and the doctor advised me to wear open toed shoes for a while. She also told me to lay off of the hydrogen peroxide for the time being as it was burning the infection site. Once there he requested to be seen by a physician. He was never told that there wasn't one on duty, and the staff insisted that he would be seen by one. Instead he was seen by NP who was rude and very short with her comments. Several times he had asked when the doctor will see him and his request was blown off. After a urinalysis was done, he was advised to go to the hospital because the NP would not write or was not comfortable writing a prescription for antibiotics. He had to pay upfront $180.00 thinking he would be seen by a physician. The staff did not provide clear communication about why a physician was unavailable and he left feeling frustrated and underserved. I hope the clinic can improve its patient experience and ensure that commitments to see a doctor are honored. Also the clinic should have a conversation with that rude NP. I will never recommend that place to a family member or friend ever again!
