I did two weeks ago on the services. they asked me to tell them what happened on the day of my and I told them that the came into the room told me to go to the ER wrote me a note did not check me and this person which is a she try to give excuses that they thought I stroke so I asked so if I'm having a stroke, why didn't the doctor look my ear to see what was wrong? Why did he put something to my heart to make sure it was being why didn't he just send me there and charge me $50 co-pay and charge my insurance company for no reason without him checking me they probably do other people the same way don't get scammed by going to doctor care the lady did not like what I was saying so eventually she got frustrated cause I told her she was given excuses for the doctor that supposed to be a doctor that check me please anybody in the area or around do not go to and simpsonville at all read more

Very sweet and friendly staff. The front desk clerk is very professional and the staff is very knowledgeable.

Do not go here. They charged me 105.00 for an office visit, 200.00 for a flu test and 32.00 for a strept test.and insurance covered only 90.00. Then doc said it was something viral and prescribed medicine that didn't even work. The lady in billing said it's because you came to an urgent care. The doctor did nothing. I have used this place before but they have never charged this before. I won't ever use them again. Outrageous!!! read more

We use to use the Greer location regularly for kid ick & sports physicals but since my son's older now it's been a long time. The struggles I have encountered trying to help him (while he trained for a new job) to get an employment physical have been unreal. I called Greer and a very curt, rude, non listening woman told me to send him there, walk-in no problem. When I tried to make sure she understood what was needed she just loudly repeated herself like I had not said a word & rushed me off the phone. He walks in that evening only to find out Greer does not do what he needs. I call back, advise of what I was told... a new lady tells me only Simpsonville & Congaree do what is needed, there's nothing Greer can do. Frustrated I ask (to ensure no more issues) if Simpsonville does this physical for walk-ins, the lady says yes, yes they do. Fast forward to Simpsonville my son texts & says they're are not doing as we were advised. I call & get stuck w/ another lady who now states the physicals are only by appointment & cut off at a certain time. I'm beside myself. I don't work there I'm a customer if I can't get good, reliable, accurate information from the people who work there what am I expected to do. My son will now lose hours on a new job waiting for a regular doctor's appointment because no one knows their own policies at Doctors care. What happened to this company. I'm highly disappointed & cannot understand why this has gone so poorly... it's to the point I'm wondering if they just not want to serve him. read more

Very frustrated with how my appointment went. I was pretty sick with what the doctor decided was sinusitis, bronchitis, and a lower respiratory infection. My appointment was booked and I was told to arrive at 12:30. Then the times kept moving later and later until I was told to come in at 1:30. I let the desk know that I had a class at 4:00 and couldn't miss it. When I arrived it took them 40 minutes to take me back to a room and then it took the nurse 30 more minutes to get to my room. Then I waited OVER AN HOUR for the doctor to come in. I had to contact the front desk and the lady there was appalled that I hadn't been seen yet. Turns out the nurse actually FORGOT I was there after he saw me and didn't let anyone know that I was in a room, so the doctor had no idea she had a patient to see. I will never be returning no matter how sick I may be. read more

Went to this walk-in clinic on Thanksgiving Day. During my visit, I was treated for a UTI which included a urine sample to obtain a culture. I was told by Doctor Julie Hammond that I would receive my lab results by the following Tuesday give or take a day. I was given a script, but it was unclear if that would help my condition until my lab results returned. After weeks of waiting, I called their office repeatedly to get results. Some of the calls I was told my chart was given to the doctor and I would get a return call, however that did not occur. On 12/14, 20 days after my appointment, I spoke to staff members again. I Was told that my lab results were never uploaded properly into my chart. My response...So you just don't call the patient? I got several explanations which included software issues and even that I did not give a sufficient sample which was noted by the lab. I am not sure on the second explanation since the cup was half full when I gave it to them. The fact that I had to call their office repeatedly for results is unacceptable. Then, to know that my sample was insufficient and still no call, totally unacceptable. You depend on urgent care on Holidays. To give someone a prescription, take a sample and send for labs, then never follow up on whether that script was sufficient is a total disregard for a persons health. For this reason, I would not trust this clinic or staff with your medical care. And now I receive a bill for my $10 copay. Not sure services were rendered in my case. I went there yesterday and got worse and called back today like the NP told me to do! They said they had no record of me coming in! They were very rude! Not helpful at all! They even gave me someone else's paper work yesterday! I won't be going back there! I am a school teacher and got something from some of my sick students last week! While other healthcare practices in the area mandate that any patient suspected of having Covid remain in their car until they are ready to be seen/tested, this office leaves known Covid symptomatic patients in the same waiting room as children coming in for sports physicals and other folks who are there for non Covid related reasons. While I was there, the patients in the waiting room not only outnumbered those there for non Covid related issues 8:1 but two people coming in for Covid tests did not have a mask on. Those two individuals asked for a mask as soon as they approached the counter but the woman checking them in didn't bother to issue them a mask until AFTER gathering all their information and having a full conversation. In fact, she had her mask hanging off her ear instead of following the "mask requirements" their office claims to have. I had to be there for a pre-employment TB test and was extremely uncomfortable! They never even came out to wipe down the chairs as people were being called back. They do wipe down the pens and clipboards but you spend more time sitting in dirty chairs than you do filling out paperwork. Moral of this story; if you don't have Covid but need to be seen, go ANYWHERE else! read more

if I could give them 0 stars, I would. IF YOU ARE PREGNANT, DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! Was told multiple times to take ibuprofen when they were aware I was pregnant. I was asked by the "doctor" to bring in a pamphlet from my OBGYN to "update her knowledge on meds for pregnant women". This same "doctor" was talking about the apps on her phone she uses to help prescribe meds. I was also given EXPIRED medication and not told the risks of using them (ie not as potent, bacteria growth, etc) Customer service was a nightmare and I waa still told I had to pay the bill EVEN THOUGH had I done what this doctor said, I could have miscarried. My granddaughter took her son to dr care and she called and signed in on her way there, She waited 30 min to be seen and they put her in the room never once asking how old her baby was, the dr came in to check her son and ask how old he was and he is 1 week and almost half being 6 months, the dr would not check him. Said she could go to the emergency room they did not take babies younger than 6m. He was running a very high fever. They never once ask how old he was, when she called nor when she got there not even when they were put in a room. This is very unprofessional and the front desk should be asking question when someone calls and gets there so she could have taken him elsewhere. If I could give minus stars I would read more

I am very disappointed in this doctor care. I was tested on sat Oct 24. I called on wed oct 28 at 4:49 pm. I was told that results were in but a nurse would call me back with the results. I called back at 7 pm and they said a nurse would call me back. I told them I need to know my COVID results so I know if I should go to work. It is now 8:49 pm. I feel this place gets NO STARS!!!!! Horrible! If you value your life STAY AWAY! After injecting me with steroids I stated I couldnt have, I had a bad reaction and advised the nurse I was worse than when I arrived -- to which she says go home you will be fine and REFUSED to check me or get the doctor. Called back 2 hours later as I was getting worse -- again told by staff -- doctor REFUSED again to get on phone -- I was told if I felt I needed to be seen go to emergency!! Flu season got me. And then the lingering sinus garbage got me. I was a little skeptical based on the 2 star reviews but this was the only urgent care around that my insurance would allow me to go to. I was pleasantly surprised. I only waited about 35-45 minutes and then the doctor was very nice. She listened to everything and then explained everything to me very clearly. This place is a joke. Some snotty PA told me to take Advil for a case of having my finger shattered by 50lbs of steel. Another time, I was refused antibiotics for otitis media because the APRN wanted to leave early, and I came back, voila, I had *drum roll* otitis media. Today, the doctor wouldn't let me get two damn words out of my mouth when I told him I was in Latrodectism from a L. Mactans (Black Widow) bite, and said he can't treat that and I needed antivenin which is FAR more dangerous than the bite. Hmmm.. Lemme see.. What could possibly be used as supportive treatment.... Clonazepam, Ativan, Diazepam, Methocarbamol... Gee. I wonder if those can be ordered to a pharmacy from an urgent care center. DUH. THEY CAN! So I went there today because I have a virus. The family nurse practitioner proceeded to have terrible bedside manner. She told me my sweater looked like Barney was murdered and I was wearing it. What even? And then she insulted my cleanliness of my ears even though I needed help with them.. and then she wrote that I have obesity on my paperwork, I've never met someone so rude in my life. Had a great experience here after breaking my foot. Dr. Romano is a great doctor! He spent a lot of time with me and communicated everything perfectly about my situation. I definitely do not recommend going here for any reason! You will wait just as long as the emergency room and they literally do nothing. I came in with a sprained ankle and all the doctor told me is to stay off of it. He didn't wrap it or anything. I don't know about the rest of the world but I can't just "stay off it" I have a job! No one held the door for me to get out and while I was in a wheelchair no one helped me out to my car. If you need somewhere quick I would recommend md360. They are fast, friendly, and actually seem to care. The entire staff at this location is rude and insensitive. Big thumbs down. read more

I was treated for shoulder and arm pain with steroids and muscle relaxers . I was instructed to take one steroid in the morning and one flexeril at night . I was given 5 steroids and I called in a request to increase the dose, because of the severity of the pain . I was flat out told they wouldn't do anything further and I could stop the steroid and take Ibuprofen , which is weaker and had it worked I wouldn't need the steroid . I asked if I could come back , as the Dr did no test or even a physical exam when I went. She asked a few question and sent a script . I was again told there was nothing further they could do . I have insurance and I am a very easy going / friendly patient and it is horrible to be treated this way , as it triggers my anxiety and depression , because I don't understand why they won't help me . read more

receptionists have not been overly friendly. doctor's have been fine and have provided good and detailed care. the reason i rate it a 1 and will not ever go back has to do with billing. they sent a $30.00 unpaid claim to a collection agency. i do not owe it, was not billed for it by either doctors care or the collection agency. it just showed up on my experian credit report as an unpaid bill. i am 64 years old, my credit raiting is excellent by both reporting agencies, and this is the first blemish ever on my credit report. i have been told by the collection agency if i pay it ( $30 i do not owe) that it will remain on my credit report but will state that the delinquent bill was paid. these folks are careless crooks and have ruined my perfect credit raiting. avoid them at all costs.. read more

Had gone to Doctor's Care over the years and had been very pleased. This time was a disaster. They have updated to a computer check-in which I didn't see. When I had been there about a year ago you were signed in by the front desk personnel. I stood there for a couple of minutes being ignored and finally, by my own initiative, saw the computer check-in. People are sick, you can't look up and direct them??? There were 4 people in front of me and I was promptly called back after approx. 10 min. I waited in the exam room around 80 min. hearing no one in other exam rooms, no one being called back to exam rooms, but heard talking and laughter at the nurses station outside the exam rooms. I opened the door, they turned looked at me and went back to talking. I came in with extremely high BP, light-headedness, and a headache. I thought they would come check on me but didn't. After another 10 min. I opened the door again and asked if they had forgotten I hadn't been seen. They said it was busy. Huh??? With as high of BP as I had they should have checked on me or at least updated. I was there just under 2 hours. Unfortunately, the care has gone down considerably. There is another choice in the area now and I will not return to Doctor's Care Simpsonville. read more

I went to Doctors Care in Simpsonville tonight & was given an Rx for Tamiflu. The staff was pleasant - as was the doctor. Unfortunately, in my influenza haze, I didn't ask if there was a generic for Tamiflu. The doctor should've offered it - as I even expressed trepidation to its price. When I called CVS & found out how much Tamiflu would be, I immediately turned my car around & drove back to the office to get an RX for the generic brand. I was trying to save over $100. It was 7:59 & they close at 8. The doors were locked. There were 6 or 7 people in the chairs waiting & they looked directly at me outside the numerous windows as I smiled & showed them my paper prescription that I had been given & said, "will you please let me in?" The receptionist definitely saw me & recognized me - I had joked with her previously about it not being busy but they'd likely get a rush at 10 til closing. After it was clear I was being blatantly ignored & dismissed, i wanted to see what they would do if I continued tapping/trying to get someone's attention. After a couple minutes, the nurses in the back AND the PA I saw started looking directly at me from their area in the open back YET THEY WOULDN'T LET ME IN & didn't even bother to walk over & acknowledge me to tell me that it's their (ridiculous!) policy to let no one in for any reason after the doors have been locked. A women came that seemed too be in her 60's she had fallen and hit her head. She sat here for 30 mins and was never seen.
