Sick in Barcelona and didn't speak a lick of Spanish, let alone Catalan! I found this service…read morethrough the hotel I was staying at. I didn't want to wander the city and end up waiting for hours in a random walk-in. I called the receptionist and she told me they could send a doctor within an hour for the fixed price of 150€. The doctor arrived in 30 minutes and the visit was covered by my travellers insurance (yay!). The best thing? He spoke English! Excellent service and demeanour. " Great Hospital with Great Patient Care "…read more My wife and I were on a 42 day Europe cruise when she fell and broke 3 bones in her ankle. We were taken off the cruise ship in Barcelona, Spain and taken via an ambulance to Centro Medico Teknon. My wife and I stayed in the medical facility for 3 days while they treated her. This medical center had all top notch facilities and the customer service, which made the USA look bad. We were met at the hospital by Maria Cararach who was the cruise ship's Medical Coordinator for the hospital. Maria was one of the most hard working, organized, efficient, coordinators, I have ever seen. Maria worked so many hours at the hospital interpreting, and handling all the cruise customers who needed medical help, answering questions between the hospital and patients. She even gave us her cell phone so we could call her late at night if we had a problem. This lady was Outstanding ! Everyone at the Medical Center respected and listened to her especially the Dr's. I don't know how, or what we would have done without her. If she came to the United States I would get her a huge paying job immediately. Thank You Maria. You are Awesome ! I was able to sleep in my wife's room in a made up bed by 2 ladies daily next to her. The constant nurses coming in all day and night applying medicine and other medical care was outstanding. Nurse Lolitie was so nice and made sure my wife's every need was taken care of. Orfidel administered my wife's pain medication, and came in so many times to make sure my wife was as comfortable as possible. Dr. Ignacio Muro one of the top surgeons in the hospital came in or called me a couple times a day to look at my wifes ankle and to explain going forward, what we had to look forward too. He was so nice and educational with his presentations and examinations before we headed back to the United States for Surgery on my wife's foot. The Centro Medico Teknon gets the highest grade of an A + , THANK YOU !

This is straight up illegal, and in regards to common marketing laws, a financially fraudulent activity. To be told after my treatment that I am charged 150 euros for cleaning my teeth, is simply not good customer service, but simply disappointing and unprofessional. The service at the clinic was great, but this type of business strategy to make more money, is simply unethical. I now have to go back for my second visit, hopefully without more "hidden" charges. Was on the other hand approached to buy a 500 euro health checkup after my visit, but no words about the extra charges before my visit. It seems that money is the only focus here, not the actual health and credibility of their patients and clients. Stay away! After posting my review on Google, I got a long post from the owner where they take NO resposibility for their lack of ethics and moral, and even blame me for their business practise as I should have read the "small text" on the website! I answered them this: Dear owner, I received your reply on my google review, where you go in detail about what you say you "offered" As someone that called to your clinic, and was never told that you charge 80 euros for first times visit during the call, or during the documents you require - I am stunned and shocked by how arrogant your reply. No other clinic, from Teknon to other dental clinics, charges 80 euros for new clients to be listed. As this is something "new" and not industry standard, you are actually obligated to inform the client BEFORE they start a treatment. As your greed and arrogance are in the driving seat of your lack of business morals, I don't expect you to understand this. Going into details about patient treatments, are absolutely out of protocol, even for someone of your lack of professionalism. Please cancel my next visit, I will make sure my review based on your feedback is updated and posted on every single page where a review can be listed. Your arrogance and lack of business ethics is extraordinary, and you should be ashamed of calling yourself an owner of a medical clinic, David Vox
