WELL the online scheduling tool does not state what time slots are for what appts. PLUS it's very unprofessional to call a patient 5 mins before the appt time to cancel. I asked if there was anything open later in the day as I really needed to be seen I was told no but clearly there is I wk in a clinic so I know that appts can be combined to make a longer appt. I wouldn't go back here if it was raining bricks and I needed just one to complete a house! Worse experience I've ever had from a doctor clearly they could care less about the patients or maybe it was just me! Their office worked quickly to get me scheduled, which I really appreciated given how uncomfortable that situation can be. What stood out most was their experience and confidence in dealing with older fillings. It immediately put me at ease. Dr. Sheppard also took the time to carefully discuss my medical situation--I have a heart condition and am on blood thinners--and made sure to take the appropriate precautions before moving forward. And something you don't see often anymore--the doctor personally called me that evening to check in, make sure everything was okay, and ask if I needed anything. The waiting area isn't anything special, so bring reading material. The staff is friendly & the doctor is personable. I just don't get the results that I need to feel better and not be in pain until Dr Jimmy fixes me. I 1st seen him when I herniated 2 disks in my back. No one else wanted to touch me, ( I was a hot mess) I could barely walk, (they gave me a walker to take my time to get inside by myself), I couldn't sit, stand, walk, and laying down was just as painful. Dr. Jimmy was the "only" one brave enough and determined enough to help me. It took some days to get my back to loosen up for him to get to the area he needed to. Once adjusted (put back in place), he told me 72 hours and I would be able to sit again. He was RIGHT!!! When he went on vacation once..another co worker told me upfront, they seen when I first came to them how bad my condition was and how much progress Dr. Jimmy made with me, they didn't want to touch me , even now. Afraid they could undo everything he accomplished to help me, they asked if I could wait til he returned in a few days. Well I didn't need to be told twice, made the appointment to see him when he returned. (He is amazing because he came in before business to work on me and another patient when he returned.) He goes over and beyond to help his patients. He has stayed passed business hours for me, as well as come in before business hours for me. Though I have moved 3 hours away from my "Favorite" chiropractor...He will be a HERO in my eyes Forever!!!!
