Went in for typical fever symptoms and got swabbed, was told i was going to receive a callback with results and never received a callback. Ended up calling in to get the results and the doctor prescribed something for me to pickup at the pharmacy. The primary pharmacy i use is closed on Sundays and i let him and his medical staff know that. They proceeded to order it to the closed pharmacy and when the pharmacy they were supposed to order it to asked them to cancel and redirect, they said and i quote "We'll call the other pharmacy and have it cancelled" There going to call the closed pharmacy to cancel an order, how smart does that sound? I took my son to this facility because X-rays were offered as a service. After waiting 45 minutes to see a doctor in what seemed like an empty office, we were seen and my son was examined. Dr asked if we wanted x-rays done and we said yes. We were left in the room for about five minutes, when I inquired about the x-Ray. I was told "we don't do x-rays." I showed the website with x-Ray services available and was told"we don't control the website." Then I was given a post it note with a number for and-ray facility in another town. That facility said they needed a referral, which DOCS urgent care had not sent. A call to DOCS for a referral was met with a long menu which resolved into"we'll call you back." Literally the worst experience every time I visit. Providers say contradictory things, they've messed up my prescriptions SEVERAL times, and when they do, they don't help. It's just good luck without medication until the specific provider gets back which could be days or weeks. Oh and also, you literally can't call them. If you try, it'll say leave a voicemail with your number and they'll call you back and then just hang up on you, and they've literally never called me back. Worst doctor's office there is. read more

When you call, the system either hangs up, gives a very quick out of order tone and no one ever picks up. I made a 12:46 spot and showed up on time. There was a line outside and there was a 12:00 spot who also showed up on time and was told there really aren't "appointments" and they were on lunch. What a crappy way of doing business. scheduling and checking in was a breeze- however new patients, please note that they require you to complete a form that they say they will text to you. No one tells you about this, and the staff waited until I was in my exam room to ask if I had received a text with a link to the forms. I told them I had not, and they went to go send it to my phone. Annoying, but understandable. after having waited for an hour and 20 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment, I was very very annoyed when I finally received the magical text with NO link to complete the forms. unfortunately, after hearing an alarming conversation on drug interactions between the Doctor and a patient, the very long wait-times and the inability of the front desk team to relay important information to patients, I decided my time and health was much too important to leave to this facility. every health care facility is swamped and understaffed. however, even better signage for patients would go a long way in making the experience not quite so terrible. I had an excellent experience at DOCS in Orange this morning. The office staff, Katie was efficient, friendly and explained that I would speak to a virtual physician. Within a short time I was virtually attended to by Dr. Shubrata Dey who resolved my issue well and called in my prescription to a Walgreens that I didn't know was closed on weekends(!) in Orange. I called the office back, explained the situation when my husband went to the an alternate pharmacy location and was told that a closed pharmacy doesn't always get prescriptions transferred and they didn't have it. Within 5 minutes I received a return call from Katie who had contacted the physician who immediately called it in. I am really appreciated of exceptional treatment. read more

Don't go here! Way too short staffed to help you. I was in severe discomfort and after waiting for a long time to be seen, despite the fact that only one person was waiting ahead of me, the doctor said he would send in a prescription for antibiotics. Three hours later the prescription wasn't there. I tried to call DOCS Medical to see what had gone wrong and was on hold for more than half an hour while feeling very, very sick. Turns out the prescription had been sent to the wrong pharmacy, and it was going to take half an hour for them to fix it. I went to a different urgent care, got a prescription, and had it filled before the prescription from DOCS Medical arrived. Never again. Save yourself. read more

After battling flu like symptoms for a week with no improvement, it was time to see a doctor. I booked an appointment online, two available 9:15am or 9:52. Took the 9:15 and completed the online booking. Arriving at 9:10 all was good. Went to the desk and told them I had an appointment. They immediately told me there was no Doctor on staff and everything would be by video. Not being happy about that but having no choice, I reluctantly agreed. I was then told there were 6 people ahead of me ??. I asked why and she responded because they are here. Ok, then what's the advantage of making an appointment?. They say make an appointment to Covid test, however their website is always "down" and no one ever answers the phone. And when you are able to get through on the website (or go in person to make an appointment) the front staff is extremely rude like they are doing you a favor. Fact check: simply do your job, we didn't tell you to work there. Furthermore, they don't upload your results online like they should so good luck getting them as we had to go there again. To the staff who just sprays Lysol in the air, you definitely didn't read the directions or even know your job. So disappointing that my allergist whom I love and have been with for the last 20 years has moved here. No one picks phones up, returns messages, or takes your payment for said services....instead, they let your co pay pile up and send u a major bill by mail. I have been perscribed a low dose of ativan to control my asthma and anxiety which i have been on for 10 years....can't get anyone to refill it and when I do get hold of someone in the office they give false information. I keep having to go down in person just to get a perscrption or make an allergy appointment and even then the office has been closed on occasions when their website says they are open. Staff and doctor are nice. But to be charged for a physical in which I have to pay some things out of pocket due to the fact that they were coded as diagnostic charges rather than being under preventative list is highly upsetting. I have been communicating back and forth with the billing department to no avail, even after my insurance told me the billing department has to change the cpt codes and resubmit the claim so that it's covered under preventative. I saw a charge for breathing capacity even though I never got that done in the office as it was just a regular physical is shady practice. Even if the staff is nice, I would not recommend anyone to come to Docs Medical. In the meantime, I am still trying to get the charges resolved. I'm already paying a lot to my health insurance and if I knew I was going to get charged at this clinic due to how they coded things not under preventative, I would've never came!! read more

My son went for a strep test on Saturday , of course the quick strep came back negative. they sent him on his way saying well if the 24 hour one comes back positive we will call you....WELL The 24 hour one came back positive and they didnt tell him till wednesday! thats 4 DAYS later... they let a college student in the dorms walk around for days infecting other students And then when they finally did call him they said if your still in pain come back and we will see you again and give you antibotics! Sorry, but the fact that the most rudimentary procedures of a medical office, i.e. returning patients phone calls, scheduling appointments, etc. should not be instances that call for a half-hearted apology. Nobody asks for illness. Having to cope with the extra stress of battling to communicate with your provider, just adds to one's overall physiological well-being. Terrible, TERRIBLE experience, would NEVER recommend this place!! If I could give negative stars, I would. Went in on Sunday 12/30. No doctor was on duty, just a PA. He literally gave NO physical examination and when I asked why he didn't listen to my lungs, since coughing was the primary symptom I had come in for, he said, he thought it was just a cold and "ok fine, but I don't think it's gonna change anything. Go ahead and report me". After he made a few more equally unprofessional statements, I walked out of the exam room and asked the reception desk on the way out for the number of the administrator but didn't look at it until I got home. I just looked at it now, it was just the main number for the office. What??? I was there for 1 hour and 50 minutes - such a waste of time and no resolution. Horrible!! ZERO STARS. Negative zero if I could!! Is that possible? If you are very sick and need your Covid test result fast DO NOT bother coming here. They don't answer their phones, over book appointments, have POOR communication, and were incredibly disrespectful. Front desk was nasty and I guarantee that you WILL waste your time waiting around all day for your appointment. The appointment was made at 1:30. We were told it should be around 4 hours wait (spoiler... it wasn't!!). So we then come in for 7:20 when we were next up on the waitlist, and when we were in the parking lot getting ready to go in, we receive a text saying they decide to close. Be aware that no appointments roll over to the next day too so you have to come in and do the same thing all over again. No THANKS!! Jeez !! I know it's a walk in but wow I would think they would treat patients just a little better? We are all humans and deserve respect, no matter how tired you are at your job. Sorry to break it to you!! Other people were upset and angry too. I can't even believe how they spoke to us when we asked what was going on. So so condescending.... Please SAVE your time with this place unless you have patience to deal with nasty employees and all the time in the world to wait around for a test result as serious as COVID-19! Me and my wife came to this location for Urgent care and walked in and noticed people in the lobby waiting we asked if this was the line and people said yes. I then asked if this was for a Covid test and all 3 answered yes. We walked by them an into the office and stated we were NOT here for a covid test but needed to see a doctor. No one asked what was the issue or if it it was a medical emergency all they told us was to wait in line outside the office. The 3 people were taken into the office before us. I understand there was a line but is this an URGENT care facility or just a cold testing site? Once we did finally see a doctor he was pleasant and very professional. I give him 5 stars, but overall this shouldn't have happened and I write this with the hope they correct this issue. Medical problems should be seen before covid testing. What a mismanaged nightmare! While I'm sure it's a reflection of the rapid COVID test shortage first and poor Docs management (not staff), this is not a place you want to go during Covid for testing or probably for anything else! Steer clear! After being bumped off website during booking and no text or phone response, I drove 40 minutes because they're crappy website said I could still be seen. Well that was a lie! There was a huge line when I arrived with no signage no one monitoring or advising people. I spoke to people in line who informed me that they were waiting for their test results and others were waiting for appointments. I did speak to someone at the front after waiting for some time explaining my plight. She said the sudden change of policy was out of her hands. While she tried to appear concerned, she was clearly overwhelmed by the volume of people. There was no protocol for receiving test results or treatment. Where to even start with the ridiculous "business" I came in at 12 and then was told they do not accept husky so I left them after calling a support center they said they do and will accept husky. After I came back after about 40 mins they changed there story and said they accept husky but the doctor on sit refuses to see people with that insurance so I had to wait a hour in the waiting room to just get seen by a doctor over a zoom call the nurse (with feather neck tattoo) she was very uncomfortable with the procedure that the zoom doctor asked her to do and at one point told her to give me the instrument to use on myself ( checking for a ear infection) which was very unprofessional the Spanish girl in the front desk is very inattentive she didn't recognize me after coming in a second time and even with my id and insurance card she asked me my name about 3 times and just seemed lost completely. Then after going through this process I left around 3 when they sent my proscription to a recommendation pharmacy that is supposed to be open. Turns out that pharmacy wasn't open it wasn't that big of a deal at first like ok I'll just call in and change to another location. Welp come to find out after all that they never sent in my proscription to any pharmacy after trying to call there office I was on hold for and I timed before I hung up was 34 mins. Came back into the office a third time and was meet with rudeness and felt like I was the one in the wrong for everything that happened and even after I came back a third time they still made me wait before they even called to change over the proscription ( I was able to play 3 four min games on my phone and wrote this whole review before they even gave me information if they transferred my meds or not) read more

I feel that the staff here is very warm and welcoming and have amazing information I never leave without any questions unanswered and if I ever have any questions I can always call and ask and I always get the answer it's very convenient and what I really like the most as I don't have to wait for hours here like i do if I went to the ER room just to be seen because I have a sprained ankle or sprained wrist for my throat is bothering me I'm usually in and out within an hour and I really like that sometimes it's even less than an hour I recommend the urgent care center for your quick needs whether it's for school or just something simple as a sore throat,poison ivy, etc .... read more

Horrible wait times and unprofessional. Apparently they use a separate lab for throat cultures but fail to inform the patient that an extra charge would be needed from the lab. That was fine for us though since the nurse tech (or whatever their menial job description is) never actually sent the cultures to the lab despite informing that they would send it out and know within a few days of the results. Five days go by, only to find out that the culture never was sent and we have to come back in for another one just to get charged again. The only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars is that the doctor who saw me was a bit standoffish and she made me feel like I was bothering her by being there.
