She stayed the weight we were told and she is as gentle and precious as they come! Andrea made good on her word and met us at the airport. Her prices are beyond fair. Our precious now 1 and a 1/2 year old is spoiled and we give her a life of luxury as she deserves it with an amazing temperament of all our dogs. Our vet did sense an extremely mild heart murmur (grade 1 from 1-10) but we were told it could be anxiety and no dog has perfect health. We love her more than words and I highly recommend her as a fair breeder with just the cutest dogs you will ever see! Even if you live out of state she makes it easy for you to recieve your precious bundle . Buy from her, you will be so lucky you did!

I first met Lauren when I thought I wanted a Cavapoo (Cavalier King Charles spaniel & Poodle mix) …read more We went to see her puppies, but my husband thought a Cavapoo would shed too much. We had Cockers for years and really loved them. Talking to Laurel, we decided to order a Maltipoo (not even bred yet). She had such extensive knowledge about every breed she has that we both felt this was a better choice for us. She is so VERY careful with her breeding schedules that the pup would not be available for a few months. If she ran a puppy mill, she would have at least tried to talk us into a puppy she had available right then. Our puppy was born later so we went to see her and she was darllng! When she was old enough, we picked up the little bundle of white fur. She was perfect. Smart, affectionate...just what we wanted. She had been vet checked, given first shots, microchipped, etc. Laurel made sure I knew how to care for her, gave me a generous supply of food to last until I could get some for her. We never had any health problems because Laurel knows about all the possible problems and has the pups checked to know they are OK when they leave her home. We got along great until my precious baby was 4 1/2 years old. She got out into the dead-end lane in front of our house, was hit by a truck and my worst fear happened. She didn't suffer, but I did! I searched for rescue Maltipoos and Maltese, but people don't rehome Maltese often because they are so wonderful. I called Lauren (I was crying for Beatrice and so was Lauren) but she had 2 Maltese girls from her last litter. Again, the puppy was perfect and helped fill that hole in my heart. We also have 2 older rescue dogs and my new baby loved them. Sometimes too much. They would rather sleep than play sometimes, so now we have 2 darling litter-mate girls that are cousins to the baby I lost; they have the same grandmother Beatrice had. I even see some of her mannerisms in them. They entertain themselves and us with their antics and our older dogs get their sleep in. My sister also lost her dog to old age about the same time we lost Beatrice and ended up getting a Cavapoo from Lauren, too. She is perfect for my sister. Someone on this website made a comment that she thought Lauren had a puppy mill, but there must be more behind the story because nothing could be further from the truth. Lauren is very careful with her breeding program, retiring her breeding dogs when they reach an appropriate age, Her dogs have good food, recreation, love, room and a place to run and enjoy the outside, and are well cared-for. She always has dogs in her home with her. NOT ONE DOG is forced to spend their lives in tiny cages with little food or water and no recreation. I know this because I went to her farm to see for myself before I would get a dog from her. Anyone who thinks differently is sadly mistaken. I have fostered dogs for an animal rescue near me for several years and have seen dogs that come from those terrible places. I won't go into any details, but I have shed tears just seeing how hey have been so extremely mistreated. I have told many people about Dreamcatcher Hill and will continue to do so because I don't think anyone could be more concerned about their animals and the homes they are going to than Lauren at Dreamcatcher Hill. Sorry this is so long, but I had to let everyone know that though I'm not a close personal friend of Lauren's, I feel privileged to have found someone who cares so much about their puppies so I can have such smart, well-bred companions!

Laurel was very helpful when he had some transition issues to my home and made some recommendations on how to get him over the hump and start eating. I was referred to them by a retired breeder in the STL area when I was talking with her about how I wanted a small dog to fit our lifestyle. My husband grew up with Bichon's and we agreed that we wanted one of our own. When I first went to the Fuehne Family Pets website, I was thrilled to see that they actually had a Bichon available. I think it was meant to be. At that time, they had 2 male puppies available and when I contacted Charity, she was quick to reply and shared additional photos and videos of them with me. It was really helpful to see them and while I wanted both of them, we had to choose 1. Once we made our decision, I contacted Charity and she and I agreed to meet up about halfway between our place and theirs. Working with her throughout the process was super easy. I was able to pay half up front as a way to secure my new puppy and then on the day of delivery, I sent her the final payment online. They even provided us with a few goodies like a leash, harness, blank and small dog bed. I was so shocked when she told us we could keep all of that for him. Our little guy has been with us for almost 2 years and we have just loved getting to know him. He was easy to potty train, mainly because Charity and her family started that process at their place. And while he has some weird quirks, I still love him very much and am so thrilled to have him in my life. Baxter Bowie comes to work with me a few times each week and we go on may adventures together. If you are looking at adopting a puppy, I highly recommend Fuehne Family Pets. They take great care of their puppies (and dogs) and are super easy to work with for a newbie like me. Thank you!

Both pups are very well trained and Tara really took the time to practice training with me to make sure that I was able to successfully implement the training commands before I took them home. It is truly amazing how she is able to train these pups on 11 obedience commands in 2 weeks. I LOVED the daily training videos!! Such a great service she provides. They both have had zero accidents in their crates and both are doing really well on the leash. We are now working on house training and it's going really well (knock on wood) thanks to the extra training manuals and videos, so far it's working well. Tara did a great job of keeping us informed from the time the mom came into season, was mated, birth announcement, weekly updates, daily training videos, and she educated me along the way with emails and educational videos so that I knew exactly what to do and what to expect after taking my pups home. I have learned so much along the way that I have felt completely confident in bringing my pups home. She definitely has a time tested process and has figured out how to streamline it for her clients. As far as the price I am very pleased. I looked for several months before placing deposit. Shop it out yourself, you won't find a better deal on a high quality mini Labradoodle puppy PERIOD. A competitor was asking $13k for same services WITHOUT GENETIC TESTING and LOW SHEDDING GENES. If I could give her 10 stars I would. Kudos to Trained Mini Labradoodle Puppies!!!!
