Chris could have made a quick grand or much more working on our half acre but instead, he spent time educating me about what was realistic and how to best sequence all the things we were planning to do so that we did not waste our hard earned money. It was clear, Chris genuinely cared about us as people not just a potential customer. He spoke honestly and advised us to wait on landscaping. I appreciate that they designed it to look beautiful when it went in and would still look beautiful as the years passed. At my new house we started from scratch since the plants there were overgrown and no longer fit the house. Pinehurst helped create a design that kept the plants and trees that still worked and integrated new plantings to make things look fresh again. They have really good material and grow many of their own trees at their nursery. Highly recommend.

Have used several different companies…read morein the past; Maxalea, Akehurst, and MJM, and Pinehurst is head and shoulders above the others. Ted Carter will come over, we will walk the area and discuss what needs to be done, then he sends a proposal, and we triage what is to be done and when. Several times we have gone to the nursery to pick out trees and plants. The few plants that have not survived a year are replaced at no charge. He drives us around in an off-road golf cart, and we can get ideas, and even pick the actual plants. If he doesn't have something in stock, he will get it. Ted has redesigned several areas, with an eye to continued visual interest throughout the year. He is readily accessible via text, phone, or email. The workers who come out are pleasant, hardworking and always leave the place immaculate. They have also relaid a bluestone patio that was settling unevenly, and repaired stonework for a fraction of what the mason who did the work quoted. If they come to weed when we are out of town or unavailable, and miss something, a call or email and they come out and deal with it. The office workers are always polite and friendly. After discussion, they send a out a detailed proposal with break down of pricing in the spring, which we amend and return. Rather than paying a big chunk of money up front, or paying monthly, their policy is to bill as work is done, so one knows what to expect and when, and you can be sure you are satisfied before you send a check, or call with your credit card information. We have been nothing but pleased.

The team did an incredible job removing our 2 large, half dead trees and removing 2 huge limbs…read morehanging over our roof. They were very skilled at making sure the limbs didn't damage any of our surrounding sheds, deck or trees when falling. My daughter was enthralled watching the tree come down branch by branch- it beat saturday morning cartoons for sure! The team did a wonderful job with clean-up and removal as well, they made sure all wood chips were off of the driveway, deck, patio and sidewalks. There were no little sticks left in the yard- you never knew a tree stood there or came down earlier in the day once Alex and his crew were finished with cleaning up. Highly recommend them and cannot wait to have another project in the yard that requires their services!

He and his crew worked very hard and with expertise and efficiency. They completed the job in a timely manner and were a pleasure to have around. This wall should stand for generations to come. He also cleaned and repaired our stone paths and patio and, when the jobs were done, he reseeded and put down straw so that the grass filled in completely. A great value for the price.
