First visit was very shady. The doctor barely spoke English and didn't listen to any of what I was dealing with. Was a very sketchy process. She also never got back to me about adjusting my recommendations. So in terms of care they don't care. This is just a money grab go to a place where they speak English as there first language so you can get better care from your doctor. I'll never return. When Doc mj started, they told me i paid for 7 months of service, i could come intothe office or call & they would help if i had an issue. Now i have an issue, i went to dr office & its lockedup & closed. Tried calling the number off the internet & it was out of service. Went to website to try n figure something out, all they could tell me was send an email & maybe they will get back to me in 10-12 days. Also, told that there is no way for me to speak to the dr, they said i only get to talk to him once every 7 months. I had gone to DR. MJ for three years. The first year I was shocked at how much they asked about conditions. The second year the manager a marine chatted with another marine and thanked him for his service while ignoring me a twenty year veteran. This year was the frosting on the cake, had to fill out a form again but the questions are more invasive. Three sections on PTSD 17 questions in the first part. THEN THEY WANT ME TO WRITE EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED! SECTION THREE HAS TWENTY QUESTIONS. I had a PTSD episode because of this form. When I went to my new doctor there were NO invasive questions. I talked to the receptionist about the form when I canceled my appointment. She proceeded to justify the form EVEN after I told her it triggered my PTSD. She said the doctor needs to know that to decide the dosage I need. I told her all the doctor needs to know is how I am handling sleep life and PTSD. not my story of the cause. Well... this location was perfect. My husband made an appointment. We got there early and they took him back right away. That was a great thing considering we did not know what to expect. Intake was really good. Great information was provided. I went along because I need to be sure that my husband asks the right questions and gets the right information. I definitely left there more informed than I was when I got there. The time with the Doctor was really good. I liked the fact that he listened and did not rush through the process. I wish I could give a pleasant review of my recent experience at the Tampa Doc MJ office, but my mom always told me if you don't have anything nice to say about someone or something, it's best not to say anything at all. So I'll leave it at that, but I will say this.. this was NOT my first appt. with Dr. Ross Glider, but it sure will be my last one with him. I've been his patient for almost 3 years now and this past Monday, I had my 7 month follow up appt. I wasn't really thrilled with his bedside manner before my recent visit, but it wasn't an issue until this last visit. All I'm going to say is this: Some doctors should NOT be MMJ doctors! Especially if they're not compassionate, or they are uncaring and rude towards their patients. If I'm paying $189 every 7 months, I certainly expect to be treated like a human being, and I expect the doctor to at least attempt to show that he cares! Times are stressful enough right now with this Covid19 going on, so I don't need to be more stressed out while I'm trying to get my recommendation for the medication that I need. Needless to say, I will NOT be seeing Dr. Ross Glider anymore from now on. The one star is for the doctor! Doc MJ will always get 5 stars from me. Unable to purchase flower today because Docmj failed to upgrade my recommendation. They upgraded a lot of others, never got around to mine and never bothered to inform me of that, in spite of all the money that I pay them. Their Facebook page says that we didn't have to do a thing and that there wouldn't be a disruption in our ability to purchase flower. Well, I can't buy medicine and they are unsure when they'll be able to get around to providing the service that I pay them for. Went to see Dr Glider and I had a horrible experience, yes he gave me my Medical card but he was rude and he looked like he was bored and did not want to be there. I don't think he even looked at the papers they made me fill out, because he asked if I had my records with me, I told him my fibromyalgia was diagnosed over 10 yrs ago and knew the reports are no longer available, he was hesitant to give me my card, he gave it to me because of my neck surgery and he saw the scar. I have a friend that went to a different doctor and treated them as a patient and they told their doctor that they had no reports and he was fine with that. Dr. Glider was excellent! I switched to Docmj from another mj doc who I had nothing but problems with. Dr. Glider went over my conditions and was very sympathetic and caring. He showed more compassion towards me during our short visit than I've had in hour long visits with other docs. I think what some other reviewers need to remember is that he's not here to diagnose you or be your dealer, he reviews your qualifying conditions and gives you a recommendation. Maybe I just unfortunately scheduled with the one QUACK at DocMJ and that would explain the other good reviews this place gets, but this Mr. Ross Glider was arrogant, rude, and threatening to not help me get treatment despite having not said anything to him yet about my situation. He jumped to conclusions, cut me off mid sentence, and was treating me like a convict despite the fact the worst thing I've ever done in my life is get a speeding ticket 7 years ago. Then after telling me "If it were up to me I would deny you right now." he pretends to call someone and act like he was going to get me in trouble. Then when no one picks up his fake phone call, he questions me some more and finds out how I'm going through a separation, then he tells me "I'm going to cut you a break." No thanks DOC! I don't need a break from a quack like you. I got an emailed receipt afterwards titled "physician compassionate care" . LOL if I had to think of someone who was the complete opposite of compassionate, it would be Ross Glider. In fact I think if he ever met someone who was truly compassionate, and the two of them shook hands, they would both vanish in a flash of light and disappear from the universe because two things could not be more opposite and co-exist.
