Started getting home service from Doc Aquarium after another shop sold me the wrong chemicals for the tank and a majority of my coral died. AJ from Doc Aquarium came over and started cleaning and servicing the tank once a month to help get the tank back to normal. After 3 months the coral is doing AMAZING and AJ is just a great person. Overpriced! I browsed the website looking for a tank for my office. The 30 gallon JBJ RL was $72 more expensive than on MarineDepot, that's a 23% price difference! It looks like they are price matching LiveAquaria here, but no guarantee on live fish?! I wouldn't take the chance, the standard seems to be 14-day online and I have to wait at least a week before fish are shipped? I'd gladly take my business elsewhere. read more

Super expensive prices! Both online and in person. Live stock is ok but not great most is browned out and not looking very good. I have visited the greenhouse before and it is very disorganized and dirty. I have no experience with the service side of the business but if it is reflected in the way that the greenhouse looks I would stay away. It seems that online they are trying to compete with larger companys like vivid aquarium and live aquaria they have most of the same prices as them for much less quality stuff. Overall I am very displeased with how this company is run. I was expecting a really neat store (not house) with lots of high end livestock and a very clean and open feeling. This is none of those things. With all the advertising by them online to visit the greenhouse you would at least think that they would make it at least presentable. read more
