Cameron Garden Centre is gorgeous to walk around. Trust me, I'm not even interested in gardening…read morebut I still really like this place. I've my parents, who enjoy gardening, to thank for introducing me to this spot. It used to be called Ballylesson Garden Centre but was renamed Cameron a couple of years ago. It's full of flowers, plants, trees, shrubs, garden furniture, BBQ equipment, bulbs, seeds, garden ornaments, gifts and plant pots. I love to browse and look at everything but have never bought anything (I don't do gardening!). However, my parents advise me it's expensive, so if you're into gardening you might want to visit Cameron Garden Centre for inspiration but possibly buy elsewhere. There's a lovely Cafe & Deli on site which serves scrumptious food. I've tried sandwiches, scones and salads over the years and the food has always been delicious. My gripe is that it's queue up to order and get your food. I hate this set up and much prefer table service, especially in a cafe like this where the food is of good quality. Plus Cameron's Cafe can be extremely busy and tables aren't cleared as quickly as I think they should be. The customer service definitely needs some work also as the Cafe staff are never very pleasant. Nonetheless, this place potentially could be great and a 5 star spot if they dropped prices a little and invested in some proper customer service training for their Cafe staff. I would still recommend it though as it is such a beautiful location.

The entrance is filled with a great range of scrubs and plants and hanging baskets of herbs. The cafe is conveniently located at the back where you have to pass through a gift shop of condiments and craft shop style presents. Seating area inside and out. The food is kept in heated glass cabinet so you can see before you choose. Lots of quiches, pasta and sandwiches with salad etc. All around £6-10 I enjoyed the food and look around after. Purchased some great plants for family. Would recommend both food and viewing.

It's a garden centre. It's bank holiday Monday. I was expecting it to be mentally busy. It wasn't…read more Woodlawn is 5 mins from my house and it's the go to place for decent bedding plants and shrubs. I'm not much of a gardener as I have a regular rather expensive manicure so I usually direct operations and himself or the big son does the donkey work. I've bought plants before from Homebase but they're usually forced on and unless the weather is fairly mild they either die on me or don't thrive. I don't mind paying a bit extra for quality plus the guys in Woodlawn are really knowledgeable about horticultural stuff and are happy to give you all sorts of hints and tips about what or not to buy. The shop bit is pretty excellent and not at all necessarily garden related. They have stylish Pilgrim jewellery, scarves, Crabtree & Evelyn products, lovely gift ideas and a great range of Regatta outdoor clothing and wellies plus some locally sourced food products. They have a great range of garden furniture and barbecues if our weather ever allowed you to sit out and in a few weeks they'll have hanging baskets and ready planted tubs. They have a great restaurant too with comfy sofas and a nice view of all the plants and things. So I guess I have to give it a 5* rating as they really have thought of everything. Worth a visit if you're in to your garden and even if you're not the coffee is good
