Being from New York, I've really missed a good chopped cheese and have been craving one for quite some time. The sandwich came with a choice of side, and I chose the French fries. While it was a decent sandwich, it just wasn't an authentic New York chopped cheese. The lettuce wasn't chopped but simply placed on top, and it was missing the chopped tomatoes and onions that help make the sandwich so special. It was served on a hoagie roll, but the it wasn't smashed together the way I'm used to seeing in New York. My husband ordered the Brisket Dipper, which also came with a choice of side. He selected the soup of the day, a beef and rice soup. The sandwich was served with an au jus dipping sauce and was good, but not memorable. In fact, we both agreed the brisket at our local Ovation Bistro & Bar is much more flavorful. The soup arrived as essentially a cup of shredded beef in broth, and the rice had accidentally been left out. The server quickly brought it over afterwards. When I spotted bread pudding on the dessert menu, I couldn't resist ordering one of my all-time favorite desserts. Unfortunately, it was another disappointment. The bread pudding was very dense, covered with large dollops of whipped topping, and didn't taste particularly fresh. This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had when it came to both food and service. We chose Palma Italian Kitchen for my birthday dinner and came as a large party. I completely understand that larger groups can present challenges, but there were far too many issues throughout the evening to attribute everything to the size of our party. Several dishes arrived cold, late, or poorly prepared. My dad ordered the vodka penne, and the pasta was overcooked and incredibly bland. It was bad enough that we had to send it back. I ordered the lasagna fritta, which initially arrived cold, and even the center of the meatball appetizer was cold. My fiancé ordered the lobster ravioli, and the pasta was still somewhat hard while the filling was cold and didn't taste right. He ultimately had to send it back and order something completely different. His replacement entrée didn't arrive until everyone else at the table had finished eating. My brother had a similar issue with his steak, which also didn't arrive until everyone else was done. The burrata appetizers came out late. They were good, but by this point the timing of the meal was all over the place. The one real standout was the pasta nachos, which were easily the best thing we had all evening. Dessert was also inconsistent. The chocolate cake was extremely hard and difficult to eat. The tiramisu was reported to be good, while the cheesecake was fine but nothing particularly memorable. What really pushed this experience to one star, however, was the service. Every time we needed to address one of the numerous issues, it felt like we were creating a problem simply by bringing it up. At times, the servers seemed irritated, and I even had instances where I was speaking to them and they walked away mid-sentence. When multiple dishes are coming out cold, improperly prepared, or after the rest of the table has finished eating, guests shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable for saying something. The restaurant itself is beautiful, which honestly made the experience even more disappointing. Our family spent over $500 that evening. Rather than immediately posting a negative review, I tried multiple times afterward to contact the restaurant and speak with a general manager so they had an opportunity to address the experience. Unfortunately, my requests went unanswered and my calls were never returned. I don't expect any restaurant to be perfect, particularly when serving a large party. Mistakes happen. But this wasn't one isolated mistake--it was a combination of cold and improperly prepared food, extremely poor timing, disappointing service, and ultimately no follow-up from management. For what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner, this was incredibly disappointing. Despite the beautiful space and a couple of dishes we enjoyed, I would not return and unfortunately cannot recommend Palma Italian Kitchen based on our experience.

Celebration Brewing Company is no different from anything in life, eventually it has to change. Some changes have made me happy, while others have left me both sad, disappointed and confused. Mostly sad though. Let's start with all the great things they have going on here. First, this is like a restaurant which has great craft beer, specialty cocktails, wine and spirits. I wouldnt say a full bar, but they can accomplish most mixed drinks and have a few specialty cocktails of their own. There is both inside and outside seating and plenty of it, as well as seating at the bar. As far as decor, the BEER sign is iconic. There are so many photos opportunities here. And, despite what I am about to say, Celebration Brewing Co is a solid 4 stars consistently. Now I will talk about some of my personal concerns about the brewery. This is my whine time disclaimer. To start, the food has been hit or miss, but mostly a hit. Their burgers and wings are consistently good. They do change their menu as places do from time to time and the things I really loved about the last menu were recently swapped for less tasty versions. To be exact, the pasta and pizza are not as good. And there is one pizza they had called JAMMIN (absolutely amazing) which they changed to FiG Etabouitit. The latter has a similar combination of ingredients, but is lacking and pales in comparison to the original. The new version is just overly sweet, while JAMMIN was savory, sweet and well balanced. You could actually taste the fig jam before, while the new version legit just tastes like honey. They told me it had fig jam on it, but unless the fig jam they are using now is mostly honey, I am not buying it. The new version is a fail. Lastly, they brew a lot of decent beer here which tastes like what it should be. The Belgians are not as good as I remember, but everything else from lagers to stouts to IPAs, decent representation. Every once in a while though, they come up with some bangers which I absolutely fall in love with (Like GINGY SNAPS), but when I return they have moved onto some other innovative beer. Leaving me feeling like that kid whose parents got divorced and it's all my fault (because I didnt support that beer as consistently as I should). So that is my 2 cents. Hope this helps.
