Alexei was super communicative, arrived right now time and got to work immediately. We ran into a small issue around the width of the door being about 1/2" too wide and walked through some options. He took his time and even made sure that the doors were more secure than they were previously by adding some longer screws. He made sure he cleaned up everything and checked in multiple times along the way to make sure everything looked good. Super impressed and have hired him for other projects now too!

I've worked with Javier and his team two times and have had amazing service and wonderful…read moreexperiences. One project was a very challenging disassembly of a large gazebo (16'x9') and deck (about 25'x 9') and he and his team took such great care in taking it apart without damaging any of the pieces and loaded it into a 20' uhaul. The other project was to install a large cedar trellis, and it came out really beautiful. The project included taking down the old trellis and then doing craftsman style angle cuts, fitting notched pieces together and installing 6x6 posts and 2x8 cedar rafters. Javier took the time to come out to give a bid for each project and the cost was exactly what he said it would be. Examples of finished work below. Thanks so much Javier!

I used Mr. Handyman recently for repair of several cabinet drawers. Service is excellent and they…read morewent out of their way to make sure we were happy with the end result. I'd give them five stars but I have several small complaints that knock them out of five-star stardom. 1. I think the cost to repair 4 drawers was about $75 to $100 too high...total cost for what they did should have been $200 tops. My bad for not asking specifically what they will do and how much it will cost per drawer. 2. They were supposed to have replaced the rubber bumper's and forgot even after discussing this several times before the job was completed. I'm giving them 4 stars because they really were easy to work with. They showed up when they said they would and even though there were some issues, they corrected those issues without complaint and did so promptly. As for the rubber bumpers, I know if I called them they'd be here first thing in the morning to add the bumpers. Since the bumpers are so cheap and readily available at most hardware stores, I'll do it myself. I could have done the work myself for around $15. I decided to go with Mr. Handyman because I believe it's critically important right now to support our small business community and I still stand behind that. Support these folks, our restaurants and our city. We will all come out of this better, stronger and more efficient. My advice is to shop around; get several estimates before you commit. Mr. Handyman is a possible good option but I feel they are a tad on the pricey side. Also, the job they did for me was very simple. I can't say how'd they would do if the job were more complex.

We had multiple pieces of outside wood on our pillars and the sides of our house that were water damaged or rotting. We also had a lot of continual woodpecker damage. We reached out to a few contractors, but are so glad we chose Doru. He was responsive, easy to work and communicate with, had very fair pricing, and is just such a nice guy. Doru was able to rebuild our pillars, patch and repair all the rotting wood and woodpecker damage and also helped out with our wood siding and the railing next to the stairs of our house. He was so knowledgeable and we really appreciated his expertise. We would highly recommend his services to anyone and will be using his services going forward for any general contract work we need for our home. I am SO thankful that my neighbor & walking friend referred us to Roger after being extremely…read morepleased with the work he did for them. - We needed several things done: - Build a new front gate for our RV storage enclosure - Repair the back gate of the RV storage enclosure - Repair water damage to our patio roof ceiling where water had leaked down around the chimney & fireplace - Replace the threshold to the garage people door - Install weather stripping to 2 doors - Major repairs to our 50+ year old French door wooden screen door - Recaulking in our bathroom & kitchen Throughout the work Roger was coming up with creative ideas that my husband & I hadn't thought of. For example, we have a very active Malinois mix who frequently bounces off the screen door to be let in, scratching the existing Plexiglass. After considering heavy duty screening to prevent damage to the Plexiglass (vetoed because it would obstruct the view out), Roger came up with covering the existing Plexiglass with another sheet so it could be more easily replaced when we decide to sell the house. He replaced the door hinges, refinished all of the scratched wood & the screen door looks & works wonderfully. Roger is a bit OCD about the quality of his work & I'm very thankful that he is. My husband & I were both amazed at what Roger charged for the quality & amount of work he did. We will definitely be calling him when we need more work done!

Not one stud was used on the lower attachments, and the holes he drilled were larger than the anchors he used on the upper attachment. What's more surprising is that he didn't use any anchors for the bottom part of the brackets. He screwed straight into the drywall, which is a no-no. I had to take the other shelving unit down because only one anchor was actually put in right and there were no anchors on the lower section. Had he just used a stud finder, he could have had 4 brackets completely in the studs on each wall. I attempted to contact him by text on September 16th, and he replied with a gibberish message that didn't make much sense and hasn't gotten back to me. I would not use him.
