I am from Green Bay, WI not CA as review states. If I could provide ZERO stars I would. Do NOT use this person. Not a professional, just ad hoc people randomly doing side work for cash. They showed up to cut trees down with a rope, ladder, and chainsaw. Not even a trailer to haul the wood. They cut the trees down and one fell on the neighbors house. He CLAIMED to have insurance but would not provide the information. He said he would pay for any damages. Once the damages were repaired he refused to respond and refused to pay. Ended up having to take him to court. I would awarded the repayment of the repairs in court. However since he does this on the side and doesn't claim the money and is on disability collecting food stamps I can not collect any money from him (he's exempt because he receives state aid). Which I'm sure he knew. So he got away with not taking responsibility for his actions and I was stuck paying for his mistake ($4,000!). read more

If any of you are looking for lawn/garden/landscaping work, reach out to PK & Son Lawn Care LLC…read more They responded to my comments on a post expressing my need to have an old hedge along the side of my house removed. They came to look at the job Friday as promised. This business is licensed, insured, & gave me a very fair-priced quote. After going home briefly, returning within the hour, & the job was done yet Friday afternoon. This hedge was old with deep roots; others had looked at the job & ghosted me. Now my siding & window contractor will not be required longer to struggle with the hedge in their way. I will not hesitate to use PK & Son services again & highly recommend them.

Don't hire these guys. Only did half the job and didn't know what they were doing. Never again!

Mauricio Tree Service LLC listened to what I wanted instead of trying to upsell me on work I hadn't requested. Despite being busy after the recent storms, Mauricio responded promptly, provided proof of liability and workers' compensation insurance without hesitation, and revised his quote to match my requests at no additional cost. He completed exactly the work we agreed upon at a fair, competitive price, and I was very pleased with the results. If you're looking for a contractor who listens, communicates well, and delivers what was promised, I would recommend Mauricio Tree Service LLC.
