I employed "Skals IT" to speed up my laptop and fix the "no sounds" out of speakers or headphones…read moreissue it recently had. Had happened in the last two days, were working and just suddenly stopped working. But did work to an external source like extended screen. The good - he accessed my laptop by remote connection and he cleared a lot of bloatware with CC Cleaner free version. And did get my laptop to run better. But he couldn't get my sound to work on on speakers or headphones and after uninstalling and reinstalling Realtek drivers a few times, he stated that the sound-card must have failed on the laptop, which either requires a used motherboard to be fitted (because new aren't available) or buy a new laptop. The bad: So I did some digging and found an app called "Fortrek for windows". I paid for one year's service and "Fortrek" went right through my laptop, cleared up more junk on it AND updated every driver that was out of date. It rebooted my laptop after all processes and guess what? My sound is now working on the speakers and on the headphones perfectly.

I made phone calls and inquired about computer replacement and configuration. When I called BBM Tech Computer Solutions the call was immediately answered by Brandon Mannie. I explained what I desired. He asked questions about the functions used on the computer. He listened and told me he would send me an eMail explaining hardware options in addition to options and suggestions. Immediately I made my decision to work with Brandon and BBM. We talked. I made a hardware decision. A acceptable bill of charges was presented to me. I agreed and the desktop replacement was initiated. I happily paid the deposit requested and Brandon acquired the new desktop computer. Off site he then preformed the necessary software loading and configurations. At the agreed upon date and time, Brandon arrived with the new hardware. He seriously worked moving the files from the old desktop to the new. He made sure the applications, profiles, related data and other necessary items were on the new computer and working properly. This computer exchange also included moving from Windows10 to Windows11. Brandon described some of the differences and was patience with the questions I had about this new operating system. I am most impressed by the professionalism and skills I experienced by BBM. I was encouraged to call them if I ever have questions. They are willing to do post installation support. Like I mentioned above, after more decades in the IT business, I am most impressed by BBM . If you have a computer issue or need to upgrade your system, contact this company and you will not be disappointed. I admit that I seldom recommend things from books to restaurants to motion pictures to anything, BUT I wholeheartedly will recommend BBM Tech Computer Solutions. I called to get more information about the options and prices. I spoke to Jimmy and from what I understand, he is the owner. He explained the different options and price points. I agreed to come in Monday morning. Upon arriving to the shop I met with a young man at the desk. I explained that I spoke to Jimmy a few days before and came in to get my car windows tinted. The young man quoted me with different prices than was already given. For example with Jimmy the starting rate was $190, with this young man the starting rate was $240 an almost 30% mark up. I do not like dishonesty and I definitely don't respect any business taking advantage of people. I explained to the young man that I was quoted a different price and if he did not plan on honoring it then I needed to speak to the owner. Three calls were made to the owner and there was no answer. At this point I was ready to walk. The young man had an about face and stated he would complete the job at the price the owner quoted me at. I found this very disingenuous. I must admit he did a good job despite the initial attempting to haggle me in the beginning. When I checked in there was a $30 off Yelp discount but he reported he has never seen it before and could not process it. I wish more business respected 'word of mouth' referrals as it's the best way to get people in your door. A word of advice being honest and consistent is always the best business practice. I will be hesitant to refer here.

This company took forever to complete my project; very amateur developers. The team could not get…read moreit right! I hired them to do an android app just like an existing iOS app. Even having the framework all laid out in front of them they still could not get the android version working for the longest time. Then the owner Ravi Mittal tells me they can no longer work on my project. He made me feel like the bad guy because his developers could not do the work. Never even apologizing! Buyer beware. I paid the agreed project price knowing that there was more work to be done because I had made a verbal agreement with the project manager to do some extra work. We had an agreement to work at the same rate and an estimate was also agreed on. After I paid for first project (knowing it was not complete, but thinking they would finish along with second agreement) Ravi pulled the plug saying that the price would have to be higher due to the "lost" hours they had on first project. It was not my fault they took forever and were amateur developers! Now he will not communicate with me nor will he refund the money for the part of the initial project that was not completed. I ended up having to pay another developer to clean up the mess left behind from Rave Infosys.
