This was also a special project because the detailing was part of a gift for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary, so I was very happy with how the interior turned out. I called first (no response), texted, and sent message on Yelp to let them know the trunk hadn't been cleaned with photos. They came back to finish the job. For the price I paid, which was the maximum of their estimate of $200-320, I'm quite disappointed at this oversight. If they hadn't cleaned the trunk, I should've been charged less. I appreciate that this is a mobile service. Overall, the job was completed in a timely fashion and it was done well. I think more transparency with pricing is needed.

Zertron came out on time and texted to let me know he had arrived. We met briefly and talked about any areas of concern for me and hopefully that it wouldn't rain while he's trying to provide the service. One of the biggest advantages that I look for is mobile service work. Even on my days off, who wants to deal with getting their car serviced or clean when I could be doing other stuff. Zertron came out and met at my work location. We found a spot where he could situate his work van and be able to work uninterrupted. He offered me a solid by taking before pictures so that I could really see the contrast. I don't feel like he tries to add on anything that isn't needed or requested. We talked about pet hair removal, trunk cleaning, any extra fees or add-ons, etc. Once I review all the photos sent, before and after, will definitely post to show how great of a job he did. However, Zertron proved me wrong in the best way possible. He worked his magic and completely removed all the hard water spots and had me speechless! I fully regret not going to my usual spot but I wanted to give a local Elk Grove business an opportunity. Went went wrong, the exterior was washed and dried to my expectations but the interior was still not fully cleaned and I had an issue with the carpet smelling even after leaving all my windows down. They were nice enough to have me go back and cleaned it again. There is a miss with the service you get here even though they are busy. I will never go back, there is room for another wash and detail spot in Elk Grove 1,000 %.

He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in detail. One of his colleague showed us examples of work completed by his team. I was skeptical at first because I'm a loyal customer of a well-known auto shop. However, since this business was just starting out and they assured us they would address any issues if we weren't satisfied, we decided to give them a try. We had ceramic PPF installed and tinted windows throughout the vehicle, except for the roof. I'm happy to say that we were absolutely thrilled with the results. They wrapped the film around the edges of the vehicle panels to provide an extra layer of protection and create a seamless look. While I can see some of the PPF edges in certain areas, you really have to look closely to notice them. Another great benefit of the way they installed the PPF is that we can now safely power wash the vehicle -- something we were hesitant to do with our other two vehicles because they weren't wrapped the same way. Needless to say, we are extremely happy with the outcome from Vivid Auto Details. Their pricing was excellent, and the turnaround time was reasonable as well. Erik and team went beyond my expectations when it came to the work. They also took pictures of the process and progress which I was glad to see because I saw what kind of skills and details went to doing the installation. I had full front PPF, rocker panel PPF, A-Pillar PPF, all around tint and ceramic coating done on my wife's brand new Tesla and my wife was extremely pleased with the work that was done. I had her previous Tesla PPF somewhere else that she wasn't too happy about it but here she was happy (which makes me happy because she would give me a hard time later about it lol.) Overall the process took about three days and we are happy with the results. They took the trim pieces off to wrap the PPF which is how a place should do it, so 10 out of 10 for that. His pricing is also very competitive compared to other places in town. I'll be taking my other cars here now to get worked on.
