I have been going to Dr Lisa Kellett since she opened DLK on Avenue. I always had acne but later it became severe adult acne. Dr Lisa told me that if I was patient & followed her program that I would never have to wear heavy foundation again if I didn't want to. It took awhile because treating acne is a process but she was right & my skin is almost flawless! In my opinion she is the very best in the business & I had been to a lot of dermatologists! Dr Lisa is professional, friendly, caring & very knowledgeable. DLK is usually the first to offer new treatments, procedures & products. Her technicians have been with her for years & well trained & knowledgeable. I get microdermabrasion & IPL. I also buy her skin care products because I trust her & she develops them so she knows what is in them. I am now using the Kellett Boost serums along with Kellett cleaner, moisturizing gel & SPF 30 face sunscreen lotion. I work outside for a majority of the day and standing under the blazing sun for hours isn't necessarily ideal for my skin condition. An acquaintance referred me to DLK on Avenue after praising the quality of their services, so I was feeling quite curious when I arrived for my first consultation. My first impression was a positive one. Right away, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who made pleasant small talk with me while confirming my appointment details. I arrived a few minutes early, so I got a chance to soak in the atmosphere of the bright, spacious lobby. It didn't take long before I felt completely at ease. My visit with Dr. Kellett was a long and thorough one. From the way she answered my questions, I can tell that she was a true professional who was very knowledgeable in her area of expertise. We had a detailed discussion about my condition, and she recommended several treatments while explaining the pros and cons of each option. Throughout our meeting, she remained kind, patient, and very sensitive to my feelings. Since then, I have been visiting DLK on Avenue for over a year and my impression remains largely the same. PLEASE!!! Do not go here... I went here for scar removal, they Informed me it was a keloid, which I was pretty sure it wasn't, since it was in fact my body, I knew that I had zero trauma to the area and I thought that the only thing that could make sense for it being there was that it was possibly an ingrown hair or something stubborn along those lines. It resembled a pimple but I had had it for some time and it wasn't going away( about a year ) So anyways they removed it, with laser and left a gaping hole.. which they than gave me "discounted" laser sessions afterwards to remove it more.. because the first session did nothing and actually turned it into a real Inflamed keloid after the damage they did !! I would have been better off leaving it the way it was before hand .. Ugh not only did they disfigure my body with wrong procedures.. they also tried to get me to start getting botox.. she said, " we call it baby botox" and everyone in their 20s is getting it now. She also said the only way to remove lines from your face is to stop using those muscles.. the lady running this facility is insane. Like legit insane. I've since gone somewhere else and had amazing results on my scar, with micro-needling treatments.. which they never even recommended I could do here! And I've also had a couple microdermabrasion treatments done on my face which completely removes the faint lines and dry skin I was concerned with.. but imagine if I didn't know any better and listened to her and got hooked on botox in my 20s and just "stopped using my face muscles so I didn't age" She is crazyyy. Please don't go here. Do your research and listen to your intuition. Your body is a big deal. Always search for a holistic option first. read more

DLK. charges too much. I vial of botox should be 500.00 they charged 1,000.00 and didn't use the entire vial. They charge about $20.0.00 per unit and all others cosmetic clinics charge $ 10 to 12.00 per unit. very disappointed they charge 3 x as much. read more

I heard so many great things about Dr. Lisa Kellett so I made an appointment, only to be extremely disappointed. I went in for a treatment for the dark circles under my eye. She suggested getting tear trough fillers (which I was very excited about). Dr. Kellett does not do them herself, and the aerthetician who did the fillers for me left me with bruising and even darker circles. I went to see another dermatologist who said I was also experiencing the 'Tyndall Effect' which can cause a blue-ish/brown tint under the eye if the filler is injected too shallow. Absolute disappointment. Will not go back again. read more

March 13, 2018 - Called DLK to ask about specific pricing for ERBIUM YAG laser to nose, or full facial treatment. The assistant stated they do not give pricing over the phone and that a consult was needed which is $200 just for consult! Almost all offices I have checked with are FREE. Not to mention just the consult at this office would be almost as much as the nose treatment itself! RIDICULOUS!!! Almost all cosmetic offices all over Toronto and the GTA offer pricing on their websites, Groupon, WagJag, etc. and is NOT a fraudulent move to get clients to their offices! This is clearly a business that charges extravagant 'undisclosed' prices and have made it clear they are only about PROFIT, and NOT THE CUSTOMER. The lady that answers the phone was also rude and was like 'whatever' when I stated that I would leave a review. As if she didn't care at all, or that I would not leave a review. BEWARE OF GETTING ANY COSMETIC WORK DONE HERE!!! They are not only rude, they do not disclose their prices for basic procedures. They also charge an astronomical cost to try to get the customer to come in which is FREE at other cosmetic businesses of practice. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! read more

I do like coming here and I did buy a 10 pack of the diamond head facial scrub. My first visit here was a gift from my friend Roy and after the first treatment I purchased the package. I would like to go more often but it just isn't located on my regular daily path, I find it a bit out of the way. I do feel I have to warn you, make sure you know the price on any procedure before you agree to try it or you may be very surprised when you get the bill. I tried something new once on their recommendation and was handed a bill for over $800, I felt slightly jilted. They practice the policy and take advantage of if you don't ask they won't tell until they hand you the bill. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Kellet and her amazing team for roughly 10 years now. I've received treatment for a variety of different issues ranging from having a suspicious mole removed to acne treatment. Dr. Kellet and her staff are always always always super caring and nurturing and really make you feel comfortable. The general service and environment is lovely, and the treatments are totally top notch. I travel back and forth between Toronto and LA and I've never found anywhere in LA that's as good as DLK on Avenue. I use the CLEAR product line and it's awesome... This was a horrible experience. I waited for a month to get an appointment with Dr. Lisa and was told that the entire consultation would be with her. During the appointment, 90% of the time I was talking to someone else. At the end, she came in for about 10 minutes and the entire time was just telling me to buy all her products without actually telling me what was wrong with my skin and how to prevent it from getting worse. Very unimpressed by the scam-like environment. I was charged $200 for a consult to be applied against services of $500 or more. Subsequently, I was charged $499 for my laser session on my face and told I would need to pre-pay an additional session in order to receive my credit, as I had been charged $1 short under Dr. Kellet's personal instruction. I can not say enough good things about my treatment (the third at this clinic) of a mole removal. Not only was the treatment itself done expertly and accurately that I will have no visible scarring, but the staff and customer service were top notch. I received a gift certificate for a free microdermabrasion here. I'm 29 years old, but have very smooth, soft, unwrinkled skin. I don't have acne problems. I thought this would be a fun facial. I left feeling smooth and decent, but two days later, my face broke out in a rash of tiny bumps. My skin is so bumpy and red around my nose that I can barely wear makeup. My chin is also itchy and bumpy. When I called and explained, they told me this was normal. But I insisted and they finally agreed to see me and gave me some samples of acne cream, moisturizer and Vascular repair cream to try to undo the damage - but they keep saying it's normal. Well, it's not normal for me! I normally have perfect skin! I'm hoping this gets better within a week but right now I'm really regretting this... I think it normally costs $100. I would be very angry if I'd spent that much money to have my skin destroyed. read more

6 years. That's how long I went without showing anyone my bare skin. My hyperpigmentation was an insecurity of mine, and overtime it took an emotional toll. I spent so much money on make-up and so much time stressing over my skin. My friend who was a regular client of DLK suggested I go for a consultation. I met with Dr. Kellett who spent a great deal of time explaining my condition called Melasma and addressed the full range of factors that contributed to my discolouration. I went in for the Spotless Light peel which Helen applied. She was extremely patient as she described step by step of the procedure and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The actual application only took a few minutes (a glossy layer that looked like honey was put on) and two hours later I was to wash it off at home. The rest was a post treatment regime that was carefully drawn out for me and easy to follow. The peeling initiated after day 2 and there was no burning or itchy face. I was definitely red and flaky but I anticipated that and knew that meant it was working. It has been a month now and my hyperpigmentation is 80 percent better! And my entire skin composition is just so much better! I haven't had a single zit since and my pores are smaller. It's really done wonders overall! Because I chose the "light" peel, I have two more to use and can only imagine the amazing final product. I can now wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and not fixate/stress about my skin. I apply only a light brush of mineral powder which takes me seconds, no concealer, no fuss! I have always been a very confident woman, and I know skin doesn't define who you are inside, but DLK really helped me solve an issue that bothered me greatly. I am extremely thankful and happy! I have been going to the clinic for the past 7 years now. Since I suffered from acne in my teens, I went to the clinic for IPL treatments, microdermabrasion and blue light(a fast way to get rid of any flare ups you may be experiencing). My mom also frequents the clinic to get some fillers/botox done. Why I love the clinic, is that I trust Dr. Kellett and her staff - all the products are top quality and technique (for fillers) is great. I absolutely love Kellett line, I have been using acne set for the last two years now and my skin hasn't seen major breakouts since then. Boosters are awesome also, expensive but they last for a while and results are great. Great clinic and everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. Do keep in mind the prices as another reviewer metioned, it's not cheap. I try to think of it that quality products/service cost money. And I wouldn't want to trust someone "cheap" with my face, it is my business card after all. read more
