I got a call back from Jonah, who's been a plumber for 19 years, and he spent a lot of time talking through the options. The valve is probably 12 years old and parts are difficult to get. While Jonah researched parts, I decided to work on it again, with a friend. Armed with Jonah's suggestions, I was able to fix the issue. Jonah was generous with his time and knowledge and I will definitely have him on my list for whatever I need in the future. Courteous, helpful, and experienced.

After getting estimate after estimate to replace two skylights, I was beginning to think the…read moreproject just wasn't going to happen. Every roofing company I contacted quoted prices that were far beyond what I felt was reasonable. Then I found Lake Wallenpaupack Roofers, and everything changed. Hugo came to my home, carefully inspected the job, answered all of my questions, and provided an estimate that was by far the best I received. He recommended Velux skylights, the gold standard in the industry, and explained exactly how the installation would be done. One of my biggest concerns was that my roof is fairly new, and I didn't have any extra shingles if some needed to be replaced. Hugo assured me he would do everything possible to match them--and he absolutely delivered. You honestly can't tell where the work was done. The roof looks flawless. His crew arrived ahead of schedule at 7:30 a.m., worked efficiently, treated my property with respect, and completed the entire job the same day. The workmanship is second to none. Then came an unexpected bonus. At no additional charge, my new Velux skylights came with remote-controlled shades that can be operated with the included remote or directly from my iPhone. I was absolutely amazed! The transformation is incredible. Instead of looking through old, cloudy skylights, I now have beautiful crystal-clear skylights that let so much more natural light into my home. The difference is night and day. Finding an honest contractor who delivers exactly what they promise isn't always easy, but Hugo and the entire team at Lake Wallenpaupack Roofers exceeded every expectation. Their pricing, professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail were exceptional. If you're looking for a roofing company you can trust, stop searching. I give Lake Wallenpaupack Roofers my highest recommendation. Thank you, Hugo, for a job exceptionally well done!

Rinker was the only one who provided a flat installation fee (that was also reasonable), a relatively quick installation appointment, and gave me answers to my questions that made sense and were consistent with appropriate practice. Just as important, the electrician left the installation sites clean and finished (the work to install one of the units appeared to take efforts that were above and beyond a simple installation however I was not charged any extra). They were concerned that I shouldn't just let anyone have access to my security cameras and wanted to assist at no charge and just "being a good neighbor". Wow, who does THAT anymore? Today everyone wants a Benjamin. In any event, turns our T-Mobile doesn't work well for me so I kept my current internet provider and didn't need for them to come out. That said, I did need my gutters cleaned. They provided a "no pressure" and very affordable estimate after driving past my house (took a photo) so I didn't need to be present. The estimate was not just for cleaning the gutters but removing the gutter guards and rinsing every out. I had quite the mess up there. You can see from the photos they provided me with after the job how bad it was. Photos of before and after? Yes. THEY DO THAT!!!! Their Technicians, Rachell and Vasil were here two hours and did a fabulous job. They gave me a window of time from 11 - 1:30 and they were here within that window. Both of them were quite the team.
