Overall, I think the most fun part about my night was the group of people I was with, but regardless, we had a blast! The club is pretty standard, it's nothing amazing, but it was easy to see and approach the main stage, and everything was clean. Most of the dancers were really talented! So, it's a great show. One dancer imparticular, who we ended up talking to a lot throughout the night, was really spectacular. Her routines were honestly amazing. One issue I had with this spot was that when we went to the bar and attempted to order bourbon one of the bartenders tried to give us Jack Daniels. C'mon.. First, we're in New Orleas, which is HUGE on bourbon, so they should know better. And, secondly, Larry Flynt is from Kentucky. He should make sure his club has bourbon on hand and knows what it's about. But, other than that oversight (sorry I'm from Kentucky and I'm really into bourbon) everything else throughout the night was pretty great. So, if you're looking for a good club to check out, I would recommend Larry Flynt's Barely Legal Club for a fun night.

We got three private dances and they were flirty and risqué to say the least. What happens in the private room stays in the private room. Giggle. I like the security presence both inside and outside the club. It's very reassuring. My wife met a dancer she is very into and it's super sexy to watch them flirt. We had a great evening and enjoyed spending every dime. One of the best clubs I've been to and my first in Nawlins. It's right on the famous Bourbon Street. Couples should use this place as foreplay to an amazing night together at home. It sure worked for us.

My partner treated me to my first ever hustler club for my birthday, and it was a night that I'll…read morenever forget! It was a Sunday on MLK weekend when I visited. My partner paid for the club's entry fee, so I honestly can't say much on their prices. I was just so intrigued by what took place behind the doors of a spot I was once too nervous to walk into. Upon entering, I saw a few people sitting around a stage where a dancer was performing. The music was loud, clear, and lively enough to dance along to. However, it was tough to be excited when the dancer herself didn't look happy to be there. A majority of the dancers were disengaged with the audience, using tricks to keep focus on their routines (e.g lip-syncing the words). I don't judge them for that- who knows what awful guests they've dealt with- but seeing a series of dancers get on stage with empty expressions and low effort stunts made me sink into the dark reality of these careers. In no time, I found myself longing to take each of them far away from this club and from Bourbon Street, and hide them away from prying eyes. It was because of this that I needed to walk away at several points. I had a couple drinks at the bar, and it tasted exactly like sparkling water with a hint of cherry- the flavor just out of tongue's reach. I also went to their restroom, which was incredibly cramped; there were two guests arguing in there, and I awkwardly had to squeeze myself behind them just to get into a stall. Fortunately, the night got a lot better after my final bathroom break. When I approached my partner who had been sitting in his seat, he handed me a $50 and said, "Go tip that girl." There was a new dancer on stage: petite, short dark brown hair, and most of all- happy. At least, she seemed happy. She was the only girl who made eye contact with the audience, displayed epic moves, and smiled throughout. I gave her the tip, and she giddily invited me to stay longer for a private dance. While I won't get into specifics, I will say that she was an excellent dancer and an even more wonderful conversationalist. I hoped my efforts to connect- even for those few minutes- were enough to show that I was grateful for her courage in doing this for a living. Maybe I'm too soft-hearted for clubs like these, but still, it was a night I'll remember for the rest of my life. While most of the performers looked disinterested, the drinks weren't great, and the bathrooms cramped, it was all worth it just to see that one great performance on my special day.

New Orleans is a great city for burlesque. Several different groups perform shows on a fairly…read moreregular basis. So far I have seen three different shows. All were very different, but entertaining. The Dirty Dime involved several different acts, but one really stood out. The act involved a performer and a pole. It was the most physically demanding performance of the night, and her athleticism was very impressive. This was not some cheesy strip club pole act, but more a display of the performer's strength. I was amazed at what she was able to do. Other acts involved a Silence of the Lambs act, fire dancing, sword play and even a special birthday surprise for lucky birthday boys and girls. Another great part of the show was the host Ben Wisdom. His quick witted responses to hecklers, and humorous style of commentary was much appreciated. If you are a fan of burlesque, or have never been to a show, check out the Dirty Dime Peepshow. I think you'll enjoy it. Note: As others have mentioned, come early if you want a seat. The venue was very crowded and smokey.

After some proper exploring of the rest of Bourbon and French Quarter, we were not ready to call it quits yet and found the strip clubs were still open..well then, bring on the bar and the gorgeous ladies! In a female strip club I take my role as crowd enthusiasm enforcer very seriously. I am there to offer the talented and beautiful performers over the top applause, compliments, and encouraging energy. With my body positive and empowering "you gorgeous girl" vibe I hope to offer a little respite from the usual clientele just giving that oh so creepy awkward stare from the corner. Every performer we saw here was over the top gorgeous with incredible athletic talent and impressive agility. It was so much fun how interactive many of them were. They complimented me back while they were on stage, admired my long feather lashes or costume, and performed challenging dance tricks with the patrons gathered around the stage. I liked the overall set up of the room with the different stages, comfy chairs, and bar in the back. I made friends with several other people sitting next to me watching the performers and was happy to see them get into the spirit of respectfully applauding the talent of the ladies performing. Drinks were good and everyone I met here was incredibly nice. As the night came to a close the only thing I wanted that this place didn't have was fries. When the call for fries became too powerful I had to finally call it quits, say goodbye to the lovely dancers, and head off in search for a delicious 3 am Ash Wednesday snacka. This place would be unstoppable with fries..seriously.

Extremely disappointing experience…read more My friends and I visited Hide & Seek in New Orleans for my birthday and unfortunately felt completely disregarded as customers. We paid the $20 ($23 w/ card) per person door fee and also paid for a section. We specifically let the staff know that we were getting a section, yet we were seated in the very back of the club, at the last table, despite there being multiple other sections available. What made the situation even more frustrating was that regular customers who were only ordering mixed drinks were allowed to sit in the section directly next to us. Meanwhile, we had paid for a section and were placed at the very back of the club. This made us question why we were not given a better table or treated with the same consideration. We also went through 3 different bottle girls to be seated, and the type of bottles we originally wanted was not available. At the end of the night at closing, we brought our concerns to the staff because we were simply trying to understand why we were being treated this way after paying for a section. I want to specifically acknowledge Kiera, who was the only staff member who was genuinely kind and helpful. She informed us that there was indeed actually another table available and even said she wasn't sure why we had not been offered it. We then asked to speak with the manager, Harrison, to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, his response was extremely rude and condescending. We weren't even asking for our section money back. We simply requested that the $20 per person entry fee be addressed, considering the experience we received. Instead of having a professional conversation with us, Harrison was rude became dismissive, stormed off, and left us standing there. We paid good money to enjoy ourselves and were not expecting special treatment, just reasonable & decent customer service and professionalism. Kiera deserves recognition for trying to help, but management's response completely ruined the experience. I would strongly encourage management to reconsider how customer complaints are handled, because the way this situation was handled was unacceptable.

I don't like door fees nor mandatory drink minimums. There are some really attractive women here, one that I was really into. But, there was very little interest on the dancers part to interact and/or dance for another woman. The club seemed a little suspicious of me in general. Some clubs really understand there are women, like me, that are attracted to women in the same way men are. Then there are clubs like this that see women patrons as either competition for the attention of the male customers and/or prostitutes. This club is, sadly, the second option. My wife and I go into strip clubs to drink and look at nude women. Nothing more. Plus, we spend money. It's a shame when we are ignored like we were tonight.
