Service continues to be all one could ask for, polite, efficient, and prompt. I had solar panels fitted by another company with the same owners - "Ideal Solar Solutions," which ceased trading and went into liquidation when the Government pulled the plug on Government subsidies. I discovered this when I had a problem with one of the components, and I was unable to contact them, and phoned Ideal Alarms for information. They are a separate company, with no legal obligation to help - and yet they honoured the guarantee of 'Ideal Solar Solutions.' As I write this, their installations manager is replacing the faulty component at my home. To find a company that is not only efficient but also does what they feel is RIGHT, at their expense, when they are not required to do so, is rare enough that I felt I should leave this comment - exceptional and impressive!

This is to correct the balance I feel very positive about the company. Well, maybe I overpaid I didn't get competitive quotes, but I must say that up to now I've been very impressed with the quality of the company. OK, yes I was cold called by phone despite being on the telephone preference list. I'm still very pleased with the service I've had. A few years ago, due to a fault, our old alarm system was going off continuously for several hours and absolutely no one responded! As it happens, the cold call from 'Ideal Alarms' came two days after an alarm went off in our road. I phoned the police, and was told the 'it is now policy' not to respond to burglar alarms, unless there are other 'untoward signs'. So they timed their cold call perfectly I was definitely in the market for a monitored system! OF COURSE I realised that the 'free system, just pay for the installation and monitoring service, we only have 4 systems to give away in your area' was a sales pitch you'd have to be a bit naive not to However, it was within what we could afford, and we decided to go for it. The salesman, Tim, was polite, pleasant, and apart from keeping up the ridiculous pretence that we were getting the system for free, was a pleasure to have in the home. Definitely NOT a hard sell The installation engineer, Barry, arrived promptly, and worked professionally one could not ask for a more pleasant, polite and professional manner. He worked quickly and efficiently, and cleared up the small amount of mess as he worked. Since then, there has been one small problem with the system they had an engineer out to us in no time! Better still, he was obviously very competent and professional. I guess the answer to the price question is this: if you want cheap security, and are NOT looking for excellent service and a reliable, professional company, don't buy a Rolls Royce! For me, the security of my home is not something to stint on I'll probably leave another comment in a year or so, when I have some experience of the system in operation so far, I'd definitely use them again top quality service!

Our door handle/lock stopped working yesterday and he quickly replied to our request for a free quote. He replaced the whole door locking mechanism for us today and we found him to be communicative, courteous, polite and tidy. The cost of this repair was considerably less than a new door and also less than we paid for similar work carried out by another locksmith over 3 years ago! I cannot express my gratitude to Adam and his team for his work on my house. There was an issue…read morewith the oven in which the fuse box kept switching off as I attempted to use this, however when they arrived at 5pm they found a massive issue with the fuse box and the power was completely gone. Adam felt inclined to delay fixing this, knowing he had to go out and get the appropriate part and come back to fix it all evening. They worked tirelessly till 12:15am and were really nice, pleasant guys who did their best for me in a difficult situation. They provided excellent service and sacrifice doing a difficult job in pitch black! Despite the time they also took their time in order to deliver real quality work, for which I ma very grateful for. I cannot recommend them enough; they were brilliant!
