You walk along looking at all the wonderful items...and then all of a sudden...your no longer outside, but inside of TAGS....where as I entered to get a closer look at more of this prized loot...a very friendly gentleman stopped his work and kindly spoke to me about certain selections in men attire. He was very knowledgeable and indicated he had worked as a personal shopper for a number of entertainers in the past. One I was very familiar with from a former UPN network show that I was a writer on. The young man who is named J.J. gave me a number of wonderful ideas for my wifes upcoming birthday on the 25th of September. He really assisted me by going out of his way to call my wife and direct her on how to make a boutique appointment for specialized shopping needs. He was very attentive to me and my wife on the phone and answered all of her questions and mine with details. He treated us very well. Will come back again in the future. It's like a whole little world of jewelry in there. Huge diverse selection. Like a factory you would see on TV. I came in specifically to have a piece of my vintage family jewelry repaired, and I was genuinely shocked by how easy the experience was. They did the repair ON SITE, in a matter of minutes, and for an exceptionally reasonable price. Story time: What made this experience even more impressive was that I had previously taken the same piece to another jeweler in the valley, where I was told they would need to keep it for two weeks to solder a loop and the repair would cost roughly three times as much. Because this is a valuable vintage piece, I just didn't feel comfortable leaving it there for that long, especially when there was supposedly a jeweler on site and what I was asking would take 10 minutes. Something about it didn't sit right with me, so I trusted my instincts and took the piece home. Then: A friend then recommended this place, and what a difference. Fast, straightforward, reasonably priced, valet parking and, most importantly when you're handing someone something valuable and irreplaceable, they made me feel completely comfortable! And insisted that what I was asking for was so simple. They did it in moment and cleaned the piece!!! I really appreciated the honesty and the fact that they didn't turn a simple repair into some complicated, expensive ordeal. I walked out with my jewelry repaired and back in my hands within minutes. We stumbled in after brunch and were amazed by the variety of unique offerings the shop is nearly overflowing with - designer rubber duckies (we left with "decorator duck"), vintage stripper cuff links, stenciled leatherette checkbook and ipod covers in yummy pastel colors for spring, magnets, soaps, custom aprons (that give Anthropologie a run for their money), some beautiful things for baby, and of course, clothes and accessories. Not all of Seaver's clothes fit my taste, but aside from the super fab aprons that actually make you want to cook, her brocade jackets are beautifully sewn and well worth the price of admission.
