The foreman was supposed to be Lee and I was told he would supervise the rest of the crew. Nobody showed up. The next day at 11 am, 1 guy showed up and had no idea what he was supposed to do.I called to find out why Lee wasn't showing up and who this other guy was. I was told he was from another crew and that he has been fully background checked and bonded. Joey talked me into moving forward against my better judgement. After I showed the workman (David) what to do, he worked 1 hour and left. The next day (Saturday) he showed up with a young boy as a helper, and did about 40% of the demolition work that was needed. On Sunday he worked alone, on installing a faucet in the shower. He broke it, threw away parts that he didn't understand and left it dripping water all weekend. Now the water can't be shut off at all and both of my bathrooms are in ruins. Joey will not refund my money nor will he pay the workman. I am receiving threats of damage to my home due to the workman not being paid and Joey has evaporated....he won't pay his employee and I am being threatened with violence because of his dishonest, criminal behavior. The workman David has also disclosed to me that he has never even met Joey in person and blindly accepted the job from him over the phone. He has also never been background checked, has no insurance and no license. This business should be shut down to protect the public.
