I asked for a private room and it was awesome. Customer service here is awesome. I didn't have a converter to charge my phone and the front desk guy trusted to let me borrow his for the night. Wht a life saver! The building itself looks old on the inside, but its very clean. The room included a bed, that was actually two mattresses put together, but it worked. I tend to sleep on one side of the bed. The matresses were VERY comfty. As small as this room was, it had a desk, a nice mirror, a TV and a nice shower room. I would definitely stay here again for a night or two if i ever go back. Worth the money. The room goes pitch black when you turn everything off. Overall very comfortable. Oh! And convenient for those traveling by train. The train station is an 6 min walk from the Aachen Train Station and a short walk to the center of town!

Rooms are just fine and the area is nice and quiet. I'm told the cigar smoking options in the bar are going to change soon.
