The Rotary Club of Moraga just completed our 18th Nite at the Races event this past weekend. Supporting both a Moraga School Safety project and a children's library in the Congo this event was our most successful ever. We raised over $30 thousand for Moraga Schools and $14 thousand for the library. DJ RyanO was our emcee and auctioneer for the evening. His creativity and energy put our event over the top. His suggestions added thousands of dollars to our auction revenue. His energy kept the crowd engaged and donating! His support both before and during the event made all the difference! Thank you, Ryan for helping make Nite at the Races 2010 the best ever! read more

HIRE DJ RYAN-O We hired DJ Ryan-O for our wedding reception, and hands down, it was one of the best decisions we made! From the initial consultation to the big day, he was professional, organized, and so much fun to work with! Ryan listened and took the time to understand our music preferences and created a playlist that perfectly captured the vibe we wanted. He kept our guests on their feet all night long! What mattered most to me was that the evening flowed effortlessly--and thanks to Ryan's experience and professionalism, it absolutely did. A few things didn't go exactly as planned, but Ryan is so smooth that no one even noticed. Thanks to him, it felt flawless! As our MC, he managed every transition seamlessly, read the crowd beautifully, and kept the energy high from start to finish. The sound quality was top-notch, the lighting set the perfect atmosphere, and every special moment felt perfectly timed--even when things behind the scenes weren't! We received so many compliments from guests about how incredible our DJ was. If you want your wedding or special event to be unforgettable, I can't recommend DJ Ryan-O highly enough! read more

We enjoyed having DJ Ryan at our wedding! He nailed the ceremony and kept the vibes high at the reception.

Ryan is being incredibly generous in the difficult time of isolation! He is offering dance parties in your driveway! He arrives with stereo to blast music for 15-20 minutes at prearranged time. Gather your neighbors in their front yards (all a very safe distance away from each other), bring your favorite beverage, the kids, the dogs...and rock out to some awesome dance music to your hearts content. We hired Ryan for a swim team party (130 kids) and he not only played great music but what is unique about Ryan is that he really engages the crowd like no other. He gets people moving, creates contests, builds excitement, and really energized the crowd. He brings another level to what you anticipate from a DJ. If you want everyone to have a blast, and pull the non-dancers from their seats, hire DJ RyanO and get ready for fun. He is awesome. read more

We loved him! Everybody at the wedding loved him! He had terrific energy, mic skills, and humor. He has great taste and great awareness of a vast array of music. You can be confident in knowing that you can provide him some genres or examples of songs and that he'll be able to create a great playlist for your event. He even checked in on my wife and I regularly throughout the event just to see if we needed anything. Highly, highly recommend! read more

DJ RyanO is the complete package! His enthusiasm as an emcee, DJ, and auctioneer was felt throughout the evening. From the beginning when I first contacted him I had a feeling he was going to be very professional and reliable and he sure was. He came on time to set up, brought state of the art equipment and had his A game the entire evening. We were busy trying to keep everything behind the scenes moving that his role as an emcee was vital--and the fact that everyone could hear him made so they actually listened (I only mention this because I've been to places where the sound system quality is very poor). This was our first time putting on an auction and DJ RyanO provided much needed guidance and recommendations to make it a success! After the auction portion was over he got the party onto the dance floor and kept them there until it was over. I'm sure people would have stayed and kept dancing if it wasn't time to clean up. He not only delivered, but EXCEEDED my expectations. I would definitely use him again for any other events read more

DJ Ryan O was the man! My wife and I couldn't ask for a better DJ, who we feel are lucky and fortunate to schedule early. He's an extremely friendly individual when you talk business, and full of energy when he's out there working his craft. He provides state of the art equipment, great music, mixes well, and most importantly his personality when he's MC'ing, which I believe is impossible to replicate if you go to another DJ vendors. Like I mentioned before, he's super easy and friendly to work with. He's very detailed oriented. He's definitely helpful in suggesting options to things my wife and I wouldn't even think about, and we love it! He even catered to us, grabbing my wife and I beers when we arrived in our sweetheart table. This man seriously does it all! Would definitely want to work with him again someday. Trust me when I say, you will not be disappointed. read more

One for the books! That's what one of our guests just called our social distancing bday party! Dj RyanO really turned our COVID-doldrums around. We loved having a way to get the kiddos out to do something DIFFERENT, a reason to get out of the house and celebrate the birthday girl. Working with Ryan was effortless. His process is streamlined, he answered all of my questions prior to the event, showed up on time, kept 8-yr olds engaged for an hour, and the neighbors even came out to have fun! We put circles in the street for each family and had them at least 6' apart. What a success! read more

DJ Ryan O - you're so easy to work with, made us feel comfortable and taken care of during our wedding night, seamlessly worked with members of our family and wedding party to coordinate everything to make our night perfect. You're our favorite wedding DJ/ Emcee (no bias as the groom and bride of course). We hired Ryan through word of mouth of his services and He exceeded all expectations. I was hesitant as this word of mouth recommendation hadn't been to a wedding in which Ryan was a DJ/ Emcee BUT.... I should not have been hesitant at all. Ryan is THE BEST. He was flexible with the day and setup, spent time to get to know us, was professional in all of our meetings to discuss our action plan as the Emcee and he volunteered for much more than I was going to sign him up for. His equipment is top knotch - wireless speakers, wireless mics, lights, fog machines, dj table- everything looks new & wonderful! Ryan works to make the day as smooth as possible for the wedding couple. During the night, he made sure we were OK, made sure the schedule was OK (and worked to quickly make changes if we had any changes that needed to be made). His utmost priority was to make us feel good. Even though our meal service was delayed- Ryan was able to "feel" the crowd out- and if it's anything I'd praise Ryan the most for is his knack on getting the crowd interested and entertained in any activity (he even hyped up the centerpiece raffle)! I loved how much he wanted to make sure all my guests were having a great time and I think that's what he ultimately achieved - the setting of an event where every single person was having fun. I thank him so much for that- all my guests had such a good time and a great DJ/Emcee is so much to credit for that. You'll always have a recommendation coming from us! Thank you, Ryan! Thank you for being professional, fun, easy to work with... and thank you for your knack in wrangling any crowd (we had 280 folks!) and, thank you for making our day special ! Check our his website and instagram page djryano for videos!!! read more

Dj RyanO came to my backyard for my Son's 16th Birthday and he was so good entertaining 6 teenage boys. That is not an easy thing to do but they were having so much fun playing a couple games he did and not really dancing but he played music and was very entertaining. I totally recommend him for a teenage social distancing party and beyond and I can't wait to hire him again for another event whether it is an adult event or teenage event. We cannot thank Ryan enough. From meeting with us several times for planning, to the day of our wedding, he was on it. He understood us and delivered an event beyond our expectations. It's that feeling when a vendor knows you so well, you feel like old friends. Lasers and smoke and lights and our grand entrance knocked my socks off too. If you need a DJ who doesn't mess around, Ryan is the consummate professional. Ryan, you'd better be ready for our 10th anniversary party cause we'll be calling. read more

Ryan was the DJ at my wedding at Charles Krug in St. Helena, CA in October 2015. He was enthusiastic, professional and a pleasure to work with. His communication leading up to the event was excellent. He spoke to my husband and I at length prior to our wedding to really understand the audience and what we wanted/needed from our DJ. He also helped us identify which parts of the evening needed particular songs and even provided song recommendations. He was very easy to reach and responsive to questions etc. prior to our big day. On the day of, he arrived on time and was totally professional--everything was executed according to plan. He did an excellent job ensuring that all our requested songs were played and ushering us through the evening. I felt like the pace of the evening was totally on point. Ryan was also a great MC--he was engaging and the crowd definitely paid attention when he spoke. He did an excellent job of playing a wide range of music catering to a variety of generations and tastes. We had a pretty diverse guest list, ranging from conservative adults/grandparents to our 20-something friends and everyone left happy. read more

I can't say enough good things about DJ RyanO. I've been to multiple events emceed by him and he's always amazing - high energy, fun, engaging and he does his homework to really understand the people and the background of the event he's working. He makes it feel like he's at home and part of the group. Additionally, during the pandemic, I've seen him around the neighborhood doing drive-up DJ parties, which everyone loves and I think really shows his innovative spirit and honest desire to bring joy to people. I highly recommend DJ RyanO for any event where you want to get people excited and engaged, and to have a great time. One of the best DJ's in the industry! As a wedding planner I have worked with dozens and dozens of DJ's and it doesn't get much better than DJ Ryan O. If you're looking for a wedding DJ, look no further - DJ RyanO is who you will want to hire. We had our wedding in April 2021 and had to pivot a solid amount of the logistics and planning due to COVID-19 restrictions. He not only pivoted flawlessly and provided excellent and professional communications, he also provided the following: 1. Energy. All.the.Energy. - He made sure us and our guests had an incredible time 2. Great music and music mixing - we asked him to do a 00s/90s focus and he BROUGHT IT 3. Event flow - he made sure our reception kept moving forward despite the fact that it was like herding cats 4. Surprise Elements - I decided to surprise my husband with a giant Smirnoff ice during the garter toss and he not only helped me pull this off flawlessly, he also gave it some literal fireworks Shout out to Events by Courtney Ann for this phenomenal recommendation. 10/10 would hire again. read more

There's reason why this guy has 5 stars... Easy to work with, communicative, and helpful are just a few ways to describe this awesome deejay! I had contacts DJ RyanO a while back to see if he was available for my fall wedding (2020). He made ME excited to help my music & MC wishes happen...he even offered other things like a fog machine & spark machines!! Such awesome effects that I really wanted Unfortunately I had to cancel with Dj RyanO, due to this pandemic as no one knows when it will be safe for a huge wedding like I was planning. I'm still hoping we will be able to work with him again, for just a party (but fingers crossed for my wedding day ) He was one of the easiest vendors I worked with when planning for my big day, and even suggested other vendors to work with. Super quick to respond to my annoying, endless emails & just always so positive. Thank you DJ RyanO! I'm still holding on to hope that you will be available when we actually get a date read more

Ryan is the best!! We had him do a culdesac party on our neighborhood court and he entertained the kids for hours! He even danced along with us and we didn't want the night to end. I'm ready to plan our next party with DJ RyanO and looking forward to it! read more

We already cancelled one son's bday party because of COVID-19 in March, and our older son's bday was coming up in a week. We told him we would have a birthday party when all of this is over, but instead thought we would surprise him with a drive up street party with his friends (all in their cars), and DJRyanO! DJRyanO said he never did a "stay in your car" party before (with a dozen 11 year old boys, nonetheless), but I've seen him in action before and knew he could pull it off. DJRyanO did not disappoint. From the moment our son came outside, DJRyanO had the tunes going, had him running up and down the street seeing his friends and he engaged all the boys (in their cars) with "birthday boy trivia," this or that," and "name that tune," ... the kids (and families) all had a wonderful time, and our son said, "Best Birthday EVER!" We would recommend DJRyanO for any event, if he could entertain a bunch of 11 year old boys (in their cars!), DJRyanO can make any event a fun and memorable one! Thank you DJRyanO!!! read more

DJ Ryan was fantastic at my friend's wedding this past weekend. He really knows how to read a room. The guests were getting pretty mellow and he knew exactly what to play to get everyone up from their seats and onto the dance floor. When it came to the events for the reception Ryan really knew how to make the room laugh. The best DJ/MC I've heard at a wedding. You can tell that music and entertaining is a true passion of his. I was the MOH for the wedding and he made all of us in the wedding party laugh and feel comfortable. We definitely had jitters before grand entrance, but he organized us perfectly and made us just enjoy walking into the room. He listened to the bride and groom on what they wanted.
